Looking for battery tester and/or DMM

Folks, Im looking for cheap but reliable battery tester and or DMM, what are my options worth considering, will any of these suit my tasks of checking out battery voltage's to make sure I dont have any dead cells?

Im really interested in it now because I have started to collect lights but have nothing(well, 4AA and 2AAA Eneloops is not enought given number of flashlights I have bought during recent month-two) to feed them with so Im stocking up with LSD NiMh's!

I dont have any of those fancy MAHA/LaCrosse chargers yet, so only way to test is either cheap DMM or battery tester.

Im using NiMh only at the moment and dont plan on Li in nearest future, so it must be compatible with NiMh.

This DIY looks totally awesome in its simplicity, yet as I understand it will work with Li only and there are no comparable alternatives for NiMh:

I suppose this wont work either:

?

I would love to have something so cheap, small and yet accurate for my Eneloops and probably Turnigy's too(Eneloops cost 14-20$ for 4pack of either 2000mah or XX 2500mah, Turnigys cost half of that so I will be getting some of them too, dont know how many tho).

What about these volt meters, are they any good and reliable:

???

And what about some cheap but reliable DMM's, are these worth a look:

?

I will not be buying Maha/LaCrosse charger within month or two, so having at least volt meter as a tester to check batteries upon arrival is better than nothing.

Anyone can share experiences with above mentioned products or has some good recommendations, please share :)!

I would forgo the battery tester, as your MM will likely perform that function with greater accuracy.

The only battery tester worth looking at IMO is the ZTS, and then only for lithium primary cells.

Perhaps others could chime in with recommendations of a good MM, available in Europe....I'm afraid my recs would be of little use to you.

Well, I know that eventually I might buy "good" DMM that could cost around 30-50$, but at the moment Im looking at something on the cheap side :)

See this post? I was looking for one someone just posted to me about the other day - a cheap one on Ebay that supposedly gets good feedback. This isn't the one, but it had good feedback from FX-32.

I have the ZTS MBT-1 that I use for quick checking my batteries but mostly for my nimh's. I also have a craftsman multi-meter that I use for checking voltages on my li-ion's. Those universal battery testers you posted look pretty good and the best thing about them are that they are very cheap. I just might get one of those myself.

Looks cool, but way out of my price range even for DMM, let alone battery tester

I really like this one you posted:
