Double / tripple stacking 7135 drivers?

Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?

Is there a DIY tutorial somewhere?

thanks

the tutorial is get good at soldering tiny things. ya just bend the pins and solder em but i haven't figured out how to do it yet, I think i need a thinner tip on my weller 25w iron.

i think he means connecting boards, not adding chips.

check old lumens posts.

PM DrJones, techjunkie, or one of the other sharp guys here. There are a couple of ways to do it (depends on Serial or Parallel LEDs) and they could tell you quickly. Sometimes you can get more out of a PM than a post. Also check/search CPF. I know there are/were threads with photos showing how to stack them with wire guide rods thru them all. Very neat and tidy way to do it.

search "stacked drivers" Stacked 7135" "driver sandwich" etc.

If you are going to stack, it's a lot easier if you epoxy the 7135's together before trying to solder them'.
