What is the best big budget light you've bought.?

Big meaning ..bigger than a AA.

Budget light meaning it's cheap to the public , not just the fact you got a remarkable deal on it .

...( Stealing a light doesn't count )...

Best Big Budget Light Lately .???

I really like my Ultrafire WF-502B with XP-G R5. It was single mode and I put in a 3-mode driver, but that's what I planned on doing when I bought it. The 502 just feels solid and looks good, not all clunky like the Surefire 6P clones (Solarforce, 504B, etc.). That was earlier this year and XP-G's hadn't been out for all that long, at least not at DX. Just over $20 for the light and replacement driver. Only problem with it is that later on I got a neutral white XP-G R4 and I just like it better. One is maybe a 9 out of 10 and the other is a 10 out of 10. But to get the 10 I had to do a lot more work (buy a LED, empty drop-in, driver, and thermal adhesive), so it's not really a budget light since it is home made.

I avoided the 502b because I was looking for a lego monster and figured solarforce was gonna be easier to find extra parts for ..And my friend was so proud of his DX mce 502I couldn't copy his 1st purchase and take his bragging rights .I also saw that the 501 at least had become the giveaway host and knew I'd end up with one like it or not ..little did i know Jim from manafont had sneaky plans to make me buy a bunch .

I really like the look of the 502b ..just don't tell my friend

The Skyray S5 is probably the best overall larger budget light out there. Nice body design, defined hotspot for throw, halo for spill, bright, working modes. Not much to fault.

I also like the clone Solarforce MCE neutral I got from KD recently. Just as nice as a real Solarforce (or even better because it tailstands and lacks the cresenated bezel) +mce dropin for only $20. The main problem it has though is that the reflector it uses isn't really for the MCE so it has a major donuthole problem, and I can't find a proper MCE p60 reflector sold anywhere.
