really? are we so bored and there are no more videos of talented homeless kids from Korea, or gun talk along with jokes about bears and shooting your gf in the leg (good joke by the way) or spam about getting rid of spam? or videos Olympic pole dancing or is it just zippo lighters now and discussion deleted topics.

That was funny... and wrong. I haven't seen or heard from Burro since he left that thread. I feel rather bad about it too, since nothing he said or did offended me in any way. I'm not even sure that, at the end of the day, we even disagree on that much. And even if we do, so what? It's the diversity of opinions that make us so great as a species. I mean, in all seriousness, where would all the innovation and new ideas come from if not for the diversity. JacktheClipper just tossed up some "spam poetry". He was the only one to think of it. None of the rest of us. How beuatiful and funny and rhythmic was that? Viva la diversity!
But back to Burro... I even publicly posted a secret family recipe to let him know there were no hard feelings. PMed him to let him know it was there too. Nothing but silence.
I hoping he is just busy or on vacation or something.
I know one thing for sure. If he doesn't bake that cake he is truly missing out on something special.

Sometimes you have to have thick skin to interact with people, especially on forums and the internet. If I got offended every time someone said something that doesn't fit with my values or opinions, I would be in a perpetual state of pissed off. And it does little or no good to point it out to others when you disagree on most things - usually leads to an argument, not a discussion of differences.
I chalk this particular one up to semantics, cone. You thought you were saying one thing, he heard another, I probably heard something completely different. I have a daughter and 4 sisters. Just because someone else has differing opinions on women doesn't mean I do and I'm am generally not offended if they do.
Just my $.02, don't beat yourself up about it. But it says a lot of good about you that it bothers you... :)
Edit: Good to hear Foy has now expanded to Spam poetry because some of his reviews are written in mighty fine prose. But I nominate Chicago X to write the 'Ode to Grunta'.
