DX used to be that way if they had the item in their own wharehouse. But I am talking before December 2011.
Maybe they have returned to "normal operation"?
They stopped updating the "we're currently answering CS tickets older than you" thread, so I guess they returned to "fast operation" which will go back to normal operation in four months or so.
How much did they pay you to write this?

The plane went down in the caspian sea, all lumens lost. The boat sank in the Marianna's Trench. The captain was last seen arm in arm with a pretty little thing from Thailand.

I ordered some stuff on 4/26/2012, got e-mail notification from DX that shipment is sent on 4/28/2012 and info on Hong Kong PO says: "The item (RT1...HK) was posted on 4-May-2012" :)
I also got shipping notice within 24h, but theres no tracking number, so the waiting begins :)
Maybe they give shipping notices once a month, and we happened to order just before that?
