Intl-Outdoor Roche F12 In Color Black

Another sweet looking version of this light. I personally like the desert yellow best, so I'll stick with what I have. But it sure does look great in black too.

it might make a nice gift

Nice. I can see getting the lower driven one in black. Curious, CNQG had the F123 weeks ahead of IOS and even noted that the black version was coming. IOS beat them to the punch this time.

I noticed that too. One thing though, before ordering, I'd ask Hank to personally check the beam prior to shipping it just in case his have that so-called beam issue Ric seemed to have. These things have to be made in the same factory.

That might be the reason IOS was behind in offering it. I'm under the impression that Ric might be having his made to order or pulled from manufacturer stock (one week lag in shipping). IOS always has their lights in stock and list the quantity, when they run out they almost immediately note it on their website (one of the things I like about IOS). Hank may have noted the tint issue and not offered them up for sale until it was fixed.

On the other hand, sometimes I think Ric and Hank are business partners that offer the same things with a slight twist in two [now three] different outlets. They offer very similar inventory, except CNQG has more low end offerings, similar pricing with different individual options. At a minimum they seem to keep a close eye on each other.

Is that light 600 otf lumens? or 600lumens at the emitter? Shouldnt 600 otf lumens be driven at around 2.8 amps instead of 1.75 amps? I would think so

Unless its for a flashaholic, 18650 lights usually do not make good gifts.

They do, if together with the light you gift a set of good batteries and a charger :Р

A U2 XML should be well over 650 at the emitter at 1.75 amp according to the brightness chart.

It’s a tough choice - the desert yellow looks great but it’s HA II while the black is HA III
