Eneloop charger compatability

I am going to order some eneloop AA rechargeable batteries for my new flashlight just wanted to check with the experts amongst you if the charger i currently have will be Ok ?

It's a Uniross charger and these are the details from the charger

"Uniross Ni-Cd & Ni-MH Battery Charger" on the back it says "Output AA -2 x 2.8v ------150mA 0.42VA"

It is a very slow charger, but eventually it will get the Eneloops charged.

If the Eneloop batteries are completely discharged, it will take 15-18 hours to get them charged with 150mA...

The name tells me nothing, but I would not trust those numbers.

Eventually, yes...

Don't put new wine in old wineskins

Good AA chargers aren't overly expensive. Just be sure to get one that stops charging when the batteries are full. There are still lots of chargers that are timer-controlled and will overcharge your cells.

Personally I like the Ansmann Powerline 4 Zerowatt. It's a plain and simple fire-and-forget-solution without fancy buttons or modes.

Been doing a bit of reading on the Sanyo Quick Chargers am i correct that you have to charge two batteries at the same time ? Just re read the Sanyo manual on their web site, the MDR02 can charge one or two at a time sorted

I am not to sure about the charger you mentioned but I have been using the NiteCore intellicharge i4 v2 for a couple of weeks. I like the fact it can handle different types and sizes of batteries and is pretty user friendly. I have only run eagletac 18650s through it so far though. Just picked up a bunch of the eneloops in AA and AAA so it shouldn't be to long before I can offer up some charge times.
