Yezl 24W HID

Has anyone tried a

Curious to hear how good this is, price seems to be right.

I'm sure it's good, but I stopped purchasing any lights with proprietary battery packs a few years ago. To much hassle and expense replacing them.

I guess I don't see the point of a small HID. Its only getting what.... 1500 lumens maybe? You can get a cheap triple XM-L with 2000ish lumens for much cheaper, along with all the LED advantages and using standard batteries instead of proprietary.

I'm very tempted to buy a TM11 if I can get it for the $150 price. I think it's probably a better alternative to a HID.

The StanleyHID I got from an American Walmart is a 35watt and probably 3000 lumens for $70 is truly awesome, much smaller than the CanadianTire Mastercraft Anihalator (think its called) which is regular $100 got one for $50 as it goes on sale few times each year. Those are my only ventures into hid, the anihalator I took back cause the battery froze up last winter. To much info? Maybe but you think something sold at CanadianTire could handle a Canadian winter

The StanleyHID is a great budget searchlight and incredibly bright. It’ll light up a whole arena with a wicked hotspot on the far end of the arena  just don’t aim it at the glass in front of you :-/

Yeah, I’ve heard that if you’re going for an HID you really should be looking at the 65W or higher models otherwise LED still has all the advantages.
