Orbtronic 18650 3100mAh Panasonic - Any Users ?

Hi,

Any advice on the Orbtronic 3100 mAh NCR 18650As is welcome if someone has tried these cells. I was planning to buy one but am not sure as there are no reviews of it anywhere and communication from Orbtronic is not the best.

I have no first hand experience with them.

They definitely know their Panasonic cell types and chemistries though... Just reading through their descriptions, theres a lot of spot on facts in there. As opposed to many other www retailers who just re-print generic specs and text.

They come across as being reputable to me.

I've bought at least 6 cells from the owner of that site. I actually know him through LPF, but haven't talked to him in a while. They are very good batteries! I measured the internal resistance on some of them and range around 70-90 mOhms.

I did receive one dead battery, but he replaced it after I contacted him.

SpaceCowboy sells these and is a member here. I believe he has sent some of these cells out to HKJ and Mitro for testing.

I wanted to get some of these cells too, he is Local to me so I'd have them same/next day :) However the 3100mAh rating from my understanding is based on your flashlight being able to run down to a level of 2.5V many can not, therefore you won't get 3100mAh out of them, same holds true for many Lasers.

Orbtronic is excellent-ships same day and it's free. Plus no mucking around with waiting.He is my go-to for batteries now.

I got the black and green Panasonics and the two and four slot Soshine chargers. All flawless and they feed my top fuel dragsters nicely.
