Are the new Sanyo Eneloop batteries available ?

The price is not a bargain, but rather a normal price here. The new one have reduced capacity, but

can be charged 2 times more than the old ones, according to the information on the site. This is

supposed to be the introduction of the new (lite) ones here.

They sell them with a charger included, which makes it difficult to check the price for the batteries

alone.

I'm glad that my guessing about the Danish worked. It was pretty much guessing as if the language were Scots/Flemish/Afrikaans (Those three are quite similar).

Personally, I don't see the point of lower capacity Eneloops. But I do own quite a lot of 2000mAh Eneloops.

I have noticed with the lower capacity cells they are less prone to discharging meaning they hold a charge a lot longer. Im comparing my basis on the green and black label Rayovacs that i have, and since its coming from Sanyo im sure that the cells are going to be of a much higher quality. My Rayo's top off at about 1455-1500 mah and i use them once in a while.

Some one I know is coming here from the US. Only way I can get the new 'loops.

You can get 8 AA vesion of the old one for £12.49( includs Cases) or

8AAA fro £11.49(Includes Cases)

I bought these. Korean seller of Eneloops. No problems at all.

If he's coming from the US, these are $25 at Costco. Shitty charger, though.

My dealer: http://eu.nkon.nl/

They get stuff to the EU pretty quickly. Quite good prices on the Maha chargers.

I bought some Eneloop Tones from them, they have some of the most pretentious marketing material I have ever seen on the packaging.

I got a couple packs of the Costco tones a few weeks ago and they were around $26 each. I also got a couple of the 8 pk tones like Don's from one of the guys at the other place but they cost me $75 for both. I'd rather have the new tones in the regular white color but I haven't seen any yet.

Nkon.nl has them at around two euros each. $21.64 for 8

Postage to HI would probably kill the deal though.

I paid around $29 for a pack of the Tones, can't remember the postage cost but it wasn't a lot.

Gaia hypothesis on the back of battery packaging; gotta love those japanese.

Wow, those are very nice but it would probably cost an arm and a leg like you said. I just love the plain white eneloops way more than the colored tones.

My last order (4AA + 4AAA) had a shipping cost of 3.3 € to Spain...

Hi cpf, thanks for the tip. You think those are genuine?

the pics look OK. at $17 / 4 they better be.

i got the ones mentioned in post #14.

ok if you don't have any other option, i guess.

Hmm... just picked up a 4-pack of Duraloops AAA 800mAh Nimhs with the high recharge capacity at a local for $8/pack

I guess if you can find good rechargeables at a local store, that would be the best option. However I can't find them locally. I personally would prefer to buy from an eBay seller, since they tend to lie less in view of maintaining their seller approval rating.

I work as a computer technician and have a dealer that have photo equipment mostly. He sells me at delaer prices (not even remotely as HK good) but have genuine eneloops. I bought a 4pack for around 10€ a while ago for my wife camera. I got also 4x sanyos 2700mAh at same price for flashlight use but now they are collecting dust mostly since 18650 are way more pratical to me. My edc is trustfire TR-801 (from the big deal from ebay a while ago) with the stock crap driver replaced with AK-47. Own a few AA lights but they will soon find new owners apart for the DX sipik 68 zoomie which is really nice.
