Is it possible to get (or make) a battery extender tube for the Thrunite TN4A, in order to turn it from a 4xAA into an 8xAA flashlight? I like the look and specs of the TN4A, but I need a something with longer runtimes (similar to a 2D flashlight).

I may be stating the obvious but wouldn’t it be easier/cheaper/more compact just to carry a spare set of four charged cells?
