Sounds like it’s not going to be cheap…. I think the permit to carry this thing is going to cost as much as a Meteor…
This sounds very good for getting around the house at night in the dark. Finally! :sunglasses:
M4D M4X:i heard a rumor of a 100W version…
235W, 17000+ lumens, 270KCD, 8*18650, with a handle, but it’s not an updated version, a completely new product.
Funny, the very first time I read this message I was like yeah you’re a funny joker. Then my eyes moved to the left and I saw “Hank Wang”. I was like oh…… ohh?..…… OHHHHHHHHHH :smiling_imp: !!!
Hank is surely pulling our legs, what the hell is that
I’m not complaining though, take my money already.
17000 lumens ? well, yeah I could use that as a nightstand light

WOW!
Hank, please start a thread about this new monster and tease us some more!
it should be named “supernova“
Hank is offering an ‘installment plan’ on this one.
it should be named “supernova“
Asteroid ELE (Extinction Level Event) :smiling_imp:

I like it! A truly fitting name for a 15,000+ lumen light.
I just ordered the Meteor M43, my 1st BIG lumen light. PLEASE let me enjoy it for while! Sheesh!

PREPARE YOUR WALLET!!!
17k lumens 270kcd… my bet goes for quad XHP70
Btw people at TLF are all crazy over Hank’s mention of this new monster.
Hank von Intl-Outdoor hat im BLF Daten von dem neuen Noctigon Flagschiff preisgegeben! 235W, 17000+ lumens, 270KCD, 8*18650, with a handle, but it’s not an updated version, a completely new product. Ich dreh ab!! Edit: wer es mir nicht...

Man, this light’s fart produces more lumens than the Meteor.

G'Day Hank,
When do you think it will become available for purchase?. And when can you give us some more details?
Best Regards,
George

Looking forward to the Super Meteor!
Hahaha I just typed something as example of new light with XHP35
And low and behold we now know
A lot of watts
A lot or lumens
8 18650 cells
Speculation time
2S4P gives 6V
4S2P gives 12V
Flood is what the M43 gives
So logically I think more throw
So multiple XHP35HI LEDs with some nice fused reflectors to combine the beams yet still give flood.
Yes a couple of XHP70 emitters could be used but they are used in so many lights I guess this one is spectacular different
Please inform us, just a bit more, you kbow a hype is good for sales

Good points, more throw is always what we are aiming at, and as small as possible body is also the first consideration.
The XHP70 will give weak throw, if you want more throw, you will need to make a super big reflector, I assume you
do not want to carry a dumb bell around when you just want to use a flashlight right.
So, yes, this new project will use 9*XHP35 Hi, still with optics, thus to make the body as small as possible, with decent throw and flood.
I hope the light can be sold before the end of this year.

Nice… Any price indication? I assume it’s going to be more expensive than the Meteor. But how much? About 50% more expensive….more or less? I’m really excited this is happening!
