DINODIRECT - Devious or just idiots? Edit - Correct item arrived.

i had shopping several times from DD but they never invited me to see the package before. So, i hope not but, this maybe their way to prepare you to shock. You still have time to say" WTF" before package arrives :)

Don't panic. I also received wrong picture of stuff I ordered last time. However, the order arrived as it should. All items were correct.

...You guys are like a little kids. Anything wrong happens and you crying, yelling and insulting all over the forum, without investigating the issue at first.

we do it deliberately. it's called having fun. or having a good time together. community shares.

On a more serious note, I wouldn't worry too much. It's happened to me before (still got the correct item but was sent the wrong picture of a nondescript box). Worst case is you'll have to wait another 4-8 weeks for your light and get a free phone you can donate to Goodwill or something. Now that I think about it, this may even make for a good Secret Santa gift... or it may get your fired.

We got lucky having Summer here to help sort out the mess of DD which isn't rare at all. Getting anything done in a reasonable manner through dino's support is a very time and patiance consuming task. I had 20+ back and forth mail communciation with them before solving a few issues. They eventually did but i think it was due to my persistance more than anything. What a huge waste of time! Summer however handles issues promptly and professionaly tho.

Do a review of the lip phone if you get it. :) It has to have an illuminated display and a li-ion battery afterall. :)

Well, it is easy for you to say. This is a $132 item. Don't tell me you weren't shock at all when you first look at the pic.

WE are all adults here. Nobody were crying, yelling and insult all over . This is not DD=avoid thread. This is what the forum for, sharing experiences. I wasn't going to post the pic if i didn't see the OP picture. In this case, posting here will help in the future if i need proof for the wrong item.

If you read my post (the one you quoted) carefully, you'll get to the part "investigating the issue at first". Without asking anyone about similiar experience or contacting DD support (I know it's crappy, but still, it can do something sometimes) you post a flame thread full of hate and aggression.

PayPal protects you, DD customer service can answer your questions, Summer is also here to help. Do you really think you would lost your 115$ ? If so, you must be a very young and unexperienced user with very little knowledge about on-line shopping ...or just a person who can't control emotions. Judging, by how much and how freely, you use a term "idiot", I bet on the second possibility.

$115 dollars is much for me. Much so in fact that I wouldn't spend it on a flashlight, on a site like Dinodirect that has an avoid tag, and expect everything to be smooth.

You could have contacted Dinodirect's CS or Summer, or filed a ticket first. Instead you made a thread calling people from Dinodirect devious or idiotic. Worse you now directly attacked a fellow member.

I would panic with this level of service. OP has his rights indeed. Wake up guys. You spend the money and they should deliver. Right?

The OP is just worried, Id be worried too for that money.

If DD asks OP to ship the phone back to China first thats like $40 and 4 weeks wasted, plus they may claim phone never received. So I can understand the apprehension.

Anyway I am pretty sure your light will arrive its just a picture system mix-up. Or DD will accept the loss and reship since the employee messed up its their fault.

Worst case after your item arrives and you try in good faith to work it out with DD, dont call PP, do a fraud charge-back with your credit card company. PP in this case will probably say the seller shipped in error and make you reship first, then the claim will drag on.

Lets hope for the best...also shipping times are going to be long now, I ordered an E21 for DD almost 4 weeks ago and it just arrived today.

...OP do you have tracking? Maybe the weight and dims are listed on the packing sheet or tracking info area?

Has anyone actually used the service that can comment on it? I've always worried that if it really came to it, there'd be some hidden fine print that makes it just a rip off.

I wonder if they have ever sent pics of some inflatable adult items to the wrong account. That could be extremely humorous.
