Thanks for the reminder; Iāve been meaning to pre-order one or two.
I especially appreciated seeing it next to the L3 L10, D25A, and T10T, since I have all those and can get a much better feel for the overall size of the host with that context.
Thanks Rey, thatās good to hear. BTW, when is the light coming out?
Itās a great light and am glad to be able to review it here. Iāve done a lot of reviews on CPF, but have been on a bit of a break. This is my first review on BLF!
Thanks for the comments guys/gals, I appreciate it.
ToyKeeper, itās about the same size as the Thrunite T10T but a lot heavier.
The glow material was originally purchased from Korea through eBay. The seller no longer sells it so Iām unsure as to where to get more. I use it for triple optic glow stickers (That I sell on CPF) and I put it in most of my lights where I can.
When is your better halfāās birthday? Buy a nice electronic kitchen scale with a 1 gram precision, like I have done.
And show the world that not all of your money is selfishly spend on your own hobby.
Nice Review Gunga, thanks for all your hard work! Itās a really thorough presentation of the light, with the pros and cons impartially stated. (I also enjoyed reading Daleās review, with its many, precise close-up pictures.)
Brass material and more complex machining aside, I canāt help but compare the Pineappleās modes and functionality with L3 Illumination L10C/11C. Having several of the latter already, I donāt think that Iāll spend my loot on the formerā¦ but if I was in the market for a brass AA light, this would certainly be a tempting choice, at a bargain price.
No argument there, though I thankfully have had no such issues. Also, the clicky switch on the L10C/L11C is not my favorite, and just from looking at the pictures in this review, it seems like the overall build quality of the L10C/L11C is not comparable to this light. I was just looking at emitter/tint quality, and output levels.
