HaikeLite Preview for MINI Triple-XHP70 prototypes--Discussion thread

[quote=hIKARInoobSomeone told me 80+ CRI for the 5000K version… :-)[/quote]

Much better than most, the question is does the tint fall towards the green or rosy side of the range?

If rosy 80+ CRI then that would in theory give this the best tint of an XHP70 light so far.

I have no idea man… I personally think it’s really cool that Haikelite use 80+ CRI. Seriously, what other (triple) XHP70 lights are out there with stock 80+ CRI? No Thrunite TN36-UT, no Olight X7…

Hi Ronin

Tint: CREE XHP70 N4 6500K CW or CREE XHP70 3A 5000K-CRI80

OP updated

turbo memoriezed, quick single click turbo available.
double click turbo available too

that is wonderful! now, your UI is a step above, or at least better than all…err…most companies in my opinion. having turbo be memorized is a good move.
is the silver version available yet? if not, is there an eta?
what is the final lumen measurement on turbo?

Is this light for sale under $100 just like your xhp thrower?

Everything in the ui sounds good, except I’d recommend:
Below 10% switch down to low
Below 5% switch down to moonlight

By forcing the light to go to very low moonlight with 20% still left, I think you’ll be unnecessarily limiting useful runtimes.

HaikeLite is a new brand and we wont sell high price. But seriously this light costs too high.

So here is the pricing (no discount)
129usd for CW
139usd for 5000K NW CRI80

Better awaiting the review test. We will officially pubic the specs and other info after holiday on 7th.

That still doesn’t seem like bad pricing for the specs and seeing how it’s made.

Looks like a very good price point based on the listed prototype specs. If the final specs are close to those it would essentially be a meteor on steroids, with a much better UI at a much lower price.

I may have to sell a few lights to make room for this triple and the thrower….

Hi electircjelly

You can press the switch again to use other modes until the light shut off at cut-off volt.

fast flash and Step-down to moonlight below 20% power is to remind people to use lower power mode and charge the battery in time. 20% can not last long on turbo or high, but can last long enough on low low, Low or middle.

Will there be a discount for preorders or a limited amount?

Hi Vinte77

We do not want set the price by 180usd~ 250usd to offer a big discount.

Im afraid we do not take pre-orders for the moment, please patiently wait a few more days.

Fair enough.

Very interesting, if the high-CRI 5000K version is really sold for around 140 USD and the test are good this could be my first superflooder (was looking at the Thrunite TN36UT or Meteor M43 or Olight Marauder X7…).

A few thoughts though:

- I don´t understand why you did not use the double switch from the other XHP70 thrower for this flooder… IMHO holding the switch to cycle through the modes is not good… on the other light you have a two way switch but do not use it the way it would be the most intuitive… I mean the simplest and most intuitive UI is hardly seen on flashlights: two buttons, press UP for mode UP and DOWN for DOWN … simple as that!

Good luck with your business!

K.

Looks interesting, and I agree that $129 is pretty reasonable.

However, I for one would not be willing to spend that kind of money without seeing some kind of review by a reputable BLF user, with an analysis of runtime, output, heating, and general quality of the light. I’m sure others will agree with me on this.

Hi RaVeN

some nice guys will review the light soon

Good stuff!!!
Can send a picture inside the DTP MCPCB?

I'm late to the party here. Just finished reading through the thread. I am impressed by the willingness shown by HaikeLight to listen to input from BLF members. An large number of suggestions have been incorporated into the design of this light.

These days, my favorite flashlight reviewer (by far) is BLF member maukka. He uses test equipment that most reviewers do not have access to, and provides more hard data than most other reviewers. I would love to see his test results for the high-CRI version of this flashlight.

Any chance…. you guys might have bumped the output to 9500 lumens… and call this bad boy MT03?
