Mild crenelations or plain work for me. I paid a heck of a lot more than that for the smooth stainless bezels I have on my Mag lights.
I believe I once paid 6.99 for a tiny SF L2 SS bezel that didn’t even look great, so yeah the price is fair.
Not realy, it would debalance the light, especialy considering the C8 besel - may be a good idea if it was ways smaller
Ah Mitko my friend. Always such a ray of sunshine in this otherwise dark and dreary forum. 
If I get to design this one it will indeed be a bit smaller meaning that it will not extend as far beyond the lens and thus will have less reflection in the outer edges of the beam pattern than some of my other SS bezels. I don’t know yet if that will happen or not. We shall see…

Ofc if its a smaller and round flat it would be great, especialy if oxidised to match the body colour.

Forget about the bezel, ask him where is he with that pressure remote switch that he is developing more than a year now!

I've been into SS bezels for a long time. I once bought a SS bezel C8 for $25 just to get the bezel, and put it on my maxed modded UltraFire C8. Must have had $80 into that thing.
I’d consider one if it was a new design and not just a steel version of the typical c8 bezels.
I didn’t mean to ignore this. I know the C8 is a popular weapon mount but I have not heard any demand for more aggressive bezels until your post. I could easily have missed it though…
It certainly won’t be the first round but if there are sufficient people that actually want this then it can probably make the next in line list, though I’d need to run it by Simon. I personally have never thought “attack bezels” to be taken seriously but I’m not so arrogant as to think my opinion is more than just that.
If others are interested in an “attack bezel” feel free to speak up but know that it would probably cost significantly more than the simple SS bezel currently being proposed.

There are standard C8's then there are standard C8's. Another words, no guarantees. I've done a lot of LEGO'ing of C8 parts a ways back, and managed some success, some not so much. This is sourcing from Simon, so I'm sure all he cares about is the Convoy C8, so that's all you should expect, I would think. So if you happened to have a Convoy C8, try it's bezel on another C8 - if it fits, probably his SS bezel will fit. I've put an SS bezel on a L4 - came off a UltraFire light, so sometimes you do get lucky.
If I recall (this was couple years ago), the SS bezel didn't go completely down on the threads but worked holding the lens and reflector down fine.
I still like the Rocher AS31's SS bezel, it's thin, light weight, classy look'n:

I have 4 C8s, 2 by Convoy, an UltraFire and a Thorfire cheapo, and the bezels are all interchangeable.
The rest is not.
I have 2 more lights with the same bezels, and they are interchangeable too.
A.f.a.i.k. only the Xtind bezel is slightly taller, but uses the same threading though.
