A lot of great prices at DD!!! (10-Dec-11)

I was hoping to find a sunwayman m40a, but they don't see to sell them (or have any in stock)

3 days...

I hope I will get it within 3 weeks.

Ordered one STL-V2, batteries and Ultrafire 501a host.

Funny, but I´ve had that 501a in cart maybe dozen of times from various places, always seemed "expensive" :D

It was about 4,5$ now, I recall it´s cheap host.

I meant I ordered it 3 days ago (in response to previous post). I don't expect to get it for at least 3 weeks if shipping time is anything like KD and DX.

I ordered two sets of trustfire flames almost a month ago, and they haven't arrived yet. Don't feel bad.

I got the Sunwayman M20C today, 2 weeks from DD. But yes some stuff from China or going through HK as a gateway can take as much as 4 weeks plus even for me over here in SG. Once it took 45 days and yes that was by Manafont.

ok

What's your impressions on M20C? Does low is really low? Build quality, etc ?

Love reading the Dino’s impressive reviews on this light.

High is 0.918A and 260 lumens OTF (good!). Low is 0.007A, unfortunately i could not measure extremely accurate mA which is pretty accurate for my UT-58E coz i blew the fuse for the 200mA port. But seriously 7mA is about there and gives you 442hrs of runtime or 18 days. Based on other flashlights like iTP A1, probably low is about 0.5 lumens to 1 lumens. Or in other words light output is about 4X dimmer than a iTP A1 on a ceiling bounce. This is very good efficiency, better than Nitecore IFE1. (but SWM's infinite;y variable drivers are still not at Nitecore's level)

Tint is much better than the V10A in ultra low mode, not sure why. V10A is yellowish-green and makes things look ugly grey. High is about the same tint but M20C kills it for throw, expectedly. M20C throws farther than the Ultrafire P60 XM-L at over 3 amps within 2 sec of turn on (literally no sag on output due to heat). I get 7.5k cd of throw compared to 5.8k cd for the P60 XM-L.

You can get a M20C T5 neutral white 358 lumens for $66 from Andy. But this XP-G from DD is $50 after discounts, has about 280 lumens and will get you better throw.

There is absolutely no question on quality regarding SWM lights. Some may not like the variable ring control (does not do exponentially) on earlier V20C models and that's about it.

I immediately ordered the V60C after this. The M3X can wait.

In terms of Ring control, i still prefer Jetbeam RRT-2 (4 modes, not con't variable) feel than this M20C. Easier to grip for the JB because the ring is really fat and raised, and the rotation is smoother. M20C you can feel some grinding between the metal.

A little dated now, but how about a Fenix TK45 for $75 after SAVE18OFFSP

Thanks 2100 for write-up about M20C. It seems just like in case of M10A ...the low mode is waaay lower than manufacturer specs.

I like that >400h runtime, but I noticed that continously variable circuits of SWM are not that efficient in low mode. I really like the design of V60C and I would sacrifice some of my flashlights to get it, but the circuit efficiency in low mode just puts me off.

By the way, do you know what is standby current for V60C ? Will it drain the batteries fast, when left on shelf for some time?

Standby current for Sunwayman stuff is quoted 50 microamps. ie Negligible to do any math on it or comparisons with Zebralights. :D

My RRT-2 drains a fully charged 18650 in 5.3 months, but that's what the tail switch comes in i guess.... 0.783 milliamps if i rem correctly.

V60C is not too bad, supposed to be 150hrs for 5 lumens. We'll see if it's really 5 lumens, coz my meter more or less can do till about 1 lumen min, if the output of the reference lights in low mode can be trusted.

BTW, the N-Light ST50 XM-L gives about 3 lumens and takes 0.019A. So 163hrs for a single 18650. The V60C has 3 x 18650s. Not too bad.

I got the V60C from Dinodirect with FedEx shipping, only $4.50 additional...not too bad!

my order hadn't shown for 18 days, so I started a chat and got a gift card.

My V60C is a much nicer tint than the V series XP-G lights. Its still a tad greenish, but the overall tint is a nicer balanced colour for the cool white colour temp. Corona is a little yellowish (typical of large dies), but overall relatively acceptable.

Woow, nice ! I guess, you'll receive it quick. When it arrives, please do measurements and post an info. Maybe, I'll get it if the promo will be still available.

Thanks, yeah i noticed that the tint on my new M20C XP-G is also nice esp for sub 10 lumens. Luckily the XM-L is good. NW 5A and 3C is cool, but sometimes it's nice to have CW lights to balance things out.

Just great, ordered the V60C and paid extra for Fedex. And they shipped it via EMS. EMS is notorious for being just a wee bit faster than registered post here, plus i will not be able to receive the delivery the first time round, and calling them to schedule a delivery takes 3 days total (you gotta wait the next day before you can call, and then you can only schedule it 2 days from that day).

I guess it's time to open a case again.... don't think it will arrive Xmas.

OK... They lowered prices for another interesting products:

Olight S65 (71.39$ before coupon)

Olight i1 (1xCR123 with XM-L pocket rocket) (26.69$ before coupon)

http://www.dinodirect.com/torches-flashlight-pendant-hole-keychain.html

Olight SR50 (old, but nice anyway) (88.99$ before coupon)

Olight SR51 (yeah, the new one) (107.69$ before coupon)

...I wish they use smooth reflector in SR51

Jetbeam BC20 (34.69$ before coupon ...not mind blowing, but anyway...)

For I2 and I3 too, but still not competitive.

BTW, lol  Have checked this morning and I2 for example had 50% discount, for $ 26.39. Now it has %73 discount for the same price  lol, DD, I2 for US$ 97.7 retail price?
