1stopled 3x XML thread?

I didn't get that email too! Maybe within these few days!

I don’t know about the madman part but if your not paranoid you haven’t been paying attention!

Actually attention is the only thing I would ever pay to Alfred..............

I'm glad you were paying attention the first time around. I was just about convinced to purchase one of Alfreds lights when you noticed his 'tricks' and actions. Your attention saved me a lot of trouble and maybe some money. Thanks VFMaddict

scdaf, just make a new user account! You will then be able to peruse the website, and pick all golden nougats within, to your liking!

I hope everyone gets adequate resolution.

VFMAddict, your posts most always give me a chuckle. Keep-it-up!

Where is my email????

You should see it with your bright & flashing eyes!

Foy, then the money is already with PayPal. It takes a day or two for them to pump into your credit card account (if that's what you paid with) and show on the customer service/helpdesk.

Now if the account is drying up soon....then the last few would not get any money. As mentioned it could be a few thousand bucks here - if Alfred knows that money is being sucked out and withdraws fund himself. Most sellers don't even know it would end this way, because they just ignore Paypal's email. ie IGNORE = DEATH SENTENCE, simple as that. LOL! If it is one or two claims then the seller would not notice "till it is too late", but if it's a hundred or two hundred.....

It is clear that Alfred in a routine liar but I'm not sure if he is a regular scammer or just a total incompetent. I sort of hope, for BLF'ers sake, that he is an experienced scammer.

An experienced scammer fully expect funds to be recovered and will even leave funds there to fully cover them, thereby keeping PayPal happy. So everyone could very well get their money back provided that they filed in time.

An experienced scammer's profits derive solely from those who miss the 45 day limit. Naturally such a scammer attempts numerous delaying tactics/emails to increase the number of customers that continue to trust and therefore miss day 45.

Alfred's site, which he personally built/coded, is still very valuable to him either way and in order to continue to derive profits from it, whatever kind they are, he needs PayPal. That's a good sign for all.

I followed all that story smelling something of bad... but with a post of WFMaddict and the answers of Alfred was crystal that something was rotten than the admin hide the 3ds to avoid law issues, and stop the ''deal''.

I hope that you guys will get all the money back, paypal take ever a commission for each transition and if change the currency take bigger % of my bank ...is just to avoid situations like this that I keep use paypal

btw that way of scam is of idiots he had to made the offer in sync with all the forums like that than ship the first few orders.. and take time for the others(pls is not a tip is a warning...)

I just hope that Alfred and ppl like him will get what they deserve...

I may be just gullible but I do think Alfred did intend to send the lights. I don't think he set this up as a scam. That being said he didn't send them which makes him UNFORGIVEN.

If it was a scam I feel no one would get any type of refund at all, maybe just piss poor bussness practice and he took a gamble on shifting 150 lights to make his money. Sofar far there has been 3 threads with fake TR-3T6,s or people not getting lights, The lure of saving $10 bucks hey...

Just got an email from Paypal and they have decided in my favor.. RESULT !!!

I have one of the good MF 3 xml's. I didnt even need another one but thought I would give him a go. My mistake.

I am impatiently waiting for my email

As I said earlier I am not certain if Alfred is a frequent scammer or just a total incompetent. However, I think you miss the point re experienced scammers. A 'No refund whatsover' scam of this type would be pointless. The scammer makes very little profit from a single hit and it hardly covers the cost, trouble and effort of building the site. However, if you always refund those who claim in time then you keep PayPal happy. Your scam profit comes from those who miss the deadline and you are able to repeat the approach over and over both with group buys on other forums, etc., and with individual purchasers.

The very interesting thing about Alfred is that he said so very early on that he had shipped (in the full knowledge that he had not), long, long before he was under any pressure to say he had shipped in order to keep people happy. If anything that is the solitary piece of evidence which leaves me giving him the benefit of the doubt that he may just be a total incompetent rather than a regular scammer. A regular scammer would usually have left the, 'I've shipped' delaying tactic until much later.

I got my refund, not just an email.

My Paypal was credited and I transferred it ($42.88) to my bank account. I guess the whole thing wasn't that painful. I was looking forward to my first triple however but that need was assuaged today by the timely arrival of my first triple that I actually now have in my hand - the Sky Ray 818.
