I have 2 XML'S 1 clone for sure but looking closer at the other now and I want a higher opinion. Either way both care coming out and new XM-L2's replacing them with much better boards. Provided I can keep the things centered. The butterfly gaskets I ordered have a smaller hole than the retaining ring. At least on this first one. Pictires below...
The run off you see on this one is my fault. It's Flux. both pics are same emitter.
This shot has bettet light and much more clear, and cleaned up some of the flux.
I was pretty sure it was a clone but not 100 percent. Some I can pick out easily others I count the knowledge of you guys. Each one I learn a little more…
Im going to save that picture if it’s okay just for my own reference.
Im swaping out 2 clones right now. Utting in XM-L2’S and much better boards. Lol one of them the pill is much taller than most and the wire leads are too short to reach the noctigon. I have silicone coaed wire on the way but still probably at least 2 weeks. Think I’m going to harvest the wiring from the clones I removed. Just eally hate swapping wires on those boards they are the 8 7135’s from Mountain. That is a very tiny spot to hit.
Hello, friends! I got from aliexpress two different flashlight. Seller page writes that it CREE XM-L T6. I gave him a photo of what I have received, and said it was fake diodes. The seller tried to convince me that this is the original T6. Seller has thousands of of positive feedback and honest. What should I do? How to prove to him that this is not XM-L, is not T6, and is not CREE? Or is it real T6? Write what is this diode. If you can give the link. Help me please!
Just take a pic from the OP here and place your led next to it.
With green arrow GENUINE CREE to th real, and with red FAKE NOT GENUINE CREE BUT SOMETHING ELSE
Make screnshot of the product page point red arrow to secs stating XML T6 and write in red ADVERTISEMENT SAYS CREE XML, Received produt does not have it
It’s clear, frend. But understand, I say to the seller, it is not Cree XM-L. But the seller said to me that it is a real T6 but with small crystals. (Although sales page he is clearly written: Cree XM-L T6 Yellow) What do i do? How can I prove to him?
Sad state of affairs indeed!
My last batch of 5 Ultrafires from DX are all fake with bad color and brightness.
Has anyone determined some safe sources of genuine Cree drop ins — that still qualify as “budget lights” ?
Thank you.
“XHP50” from Warsun X80. If I compare it to pictures here on BLF and cree datasheet this one sure look suspicious/fake… The dome texture looks more like LB HP50 but not the backside. Even the mcpcb is suspicious. XMK=No info to be found
Yes, looks very much like the LB HP50 and I think it is one. Of course many sites offering the WarsunX80 are labeling it “XHP50” which is a clear false reference to the Cree original.
