KawiBoy, I’m lovin’ the stripped large hosts. I think I’m going to strip my S70 now after seeing your lights.

Here’s my F13 I just finished some polishing on. Host is still empty.

Thanks for creating this thread, tim70. After I found out how easy it is to strip and polish, I have to hold myself back from doing it to every light I have.

Baking anodizing can change the color of the dye used, usually works best on type I or II. You can either do it in an oven or with a torch but in either case you need to strip it down to metal parts only (no lens, switch, driver, o-rings, or anything else adversely affected by ~450F).
