+1, very impressive, Nice Job!
I like it. :+1:
Sir, that is a masterpiece! It is absolutely beautiful and I am so glad I got to see it finished. I am happy that I could get to see the end of another BLF contest. May they come every year no matter what.
Simply Beautiful! Thank you
None of those items individually would hold my interest much past âooooh, shinyâ. Together in that beautiful creation you conjured forth from your imagination, it would hold my interest everytime I passed it, if I ever put it downâŚ. StunningâŚ
Everyone else here has said it all RBD, except, Iâll take it.
It looks if I may say so gorgeous.
Wow! Looks like a masterpiece. Awesome job RBD!!! :+1:
Thanks guys, competition is stiff this year with a lot of outstanding builds so Iâm glad you think this is one too. Some numbers in post #3.
As a famous tennis player once said, ââyou cant be seriousââ. Wow.
To me this looks a clean as anything in the machine made category. Where is the part about you making the fins on the neck?
Post #2 has short cuts to each separate build post or if you have the time and inclination they are daisy chained with a link to the next at the end of each one. Itâs a long chain so get a brew and get comfortable. As with all my builds I bounce around like I donât know where Iâm going but sooner or later(usually later) I get there.
Loaded weight with cell is ~175g and the copper cored head is ~60g even with its mostly empty reflector volume from the fins forward. One of the things Iâm striving for is reducing the excess weight as I improve my skills and this is by far my leanest effort to date. By comparison my 2 cell brass build from year before last was ~350g.
excellent construction
Nice first post. Welcome to the forum.
Photobucket is down. Havenât seen my pics here for two days and canât access most of the account pics.
yep⌠i getâŚâŚ
Hang In There!
Weâre down for maintenance, but weâll be back shortly.
Not sure how I missed this, except too busy, but it is stunning. Talk to you soon.
Shameless bump ftw.
I havenât received the light yet. Is there a mail strike somewhere?
Which light? Have not heard of any strikes anywhere in the mail / parcel field.
This one.
