I don’t know what y’all light up at 500m+ but with me, it’s usually wildlife or sometimes unwelcome people or a car. So 3-5m of beam width would be perfect in comparison to say a wide beam with more lumens from the xhp that would be wide enough to light up an area as big as a house or two. 
Yeah so many said interested, I feared it would be very hard to get it u to date if not started now.

The OP has the diameter already spec'd at 120mm. Does that mean that a specific reflector has already been chosen? Sure would like to hear about it as it will about the biggest differentiater from other thrower lights.
There is not a particular reflector chosen, and that may become an issue. I gues that we hope that a manufacturer manages to source one in China, or has them specially made…
