I ordered and paid for the Sunwayman G25C, two days later I was refunded due to no stock. So much for an offer. Sad

At least you got a refund. I was supposed to receive a Convoy S2+ UV that I’d ordered from Gearbest’s US warehouse but didn’t. I called FedEx and they told me that the package was lost so I put in a ticket with Gearbest and they keep saying just wait, just wait. I don’t think so…I filed a claim with paypal…it’s a pity that I had to go that route.

Similar thing happened to me, I also ordered Convoy UV while it was on sale, was about 15$ + I used points that I had to drop that to ~13$, but, no flashlight after 30 days, I started a ticket, they asked me to wait 2 months from estimated delivery date ( so that’s 3 months from my payment) and I knew I wont find that light for such a great price any time soon so i waited, paypal has me covered for 180 days so there was nothing to loose, on 64th day I contacted them again (third contact on this issue) they offered to resend the product or to refund me, ofcourse I opted for resend which they did and after another ~30 days I had my Convoy UV light and I am very satisfied with it.

Lost packages is something that happens all the time and it is best that you prepare yourself for this scenario.
I had lost packages from ebay, aliexpress, dinodirect, wallbuys, banggood, gearbest, fasttech, DX, I even had one quite valuable package that I ordered from respected member of our forum also lost and the only place where I actually lost money was ebay (it was something like 7$ so not that big of na issue) .

There are only 3 advices I can give:
- if you need something urgent order from local trusted seller
- if you order from overseas always go for tracked (registered) shipping option
- prepare yourself, no one is excluded from this game, more you order the higher the chances are that something will get lost.

I am preparing a review of brass model. The original price is not acceptable, but this offer is really impressive. Is a Nice light.

+1 So now there is a brass one on it’s way to me Love

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.

It was in my cart with coupon applied but I decided not to. I really don’t need another tube light and I am already spending a lot on parts for another project.

It’s one of the prettiest lights I’ve seen though, and a steal at that price.

Ordered a brass one, wanted the Copper version but the thin bezel made me think twice. At this price it is a steal…

I like copper version (rose gold) for better heat conductivity.

I would avoid stainless steel because poor heat conductivity.
Copper heat conductivity > aluminium > brass > stainless steel.

Hot rod flashlight projects with 4 XHP35 and 3 XHP50. Patiently waiting for parts from various sources. Smile

Yup I found brass heat conductivity is poorer than aluminium and it’s supper heavy.

I personally wouldn’t buy brass unless u like the shinny gold look Smile

Go with copper Smile

Actually copper is the heaviest of them. Brass almost the same and SS a little lighter. But in this size the weight difference can be considered as negligible

Will definitely go with brass if it wont oxide like the copper. I like shiny finish Smile
Anyone can confirm if the brass doesn’t change color over time?

Brass will oxidize too and poorer heat sink compare to aluminium and copper Smile

I’d still choose the brass personally. Copper is nice, but the walls on that Prince are sooo thin. If the brass pill in a Convoy S2+ can handle a 15amp triple, brass isn’t so bad.
