Did you mean 305 vs 403?
sm305 = 3000K 5 steps McAdams
sm403 = 4000K 3 steps McAdams
I bought thousands of 3000K for my company. 3 steps would make it extremely expensive while the application doesn’t need it. That’s why the 3000K is only available in 5 steps
Hey are you only getting 5 of each, or is that just all the list space you started with? I don’t actually need 4 of them and I’d hate for others to miss out just cause I got here first.
Good, that’s kinda what I thought but I didn’t want to be the greedy joker that bought all the emitters either. Glad to know I can have my four without guilt
The “– NV4L144AM (144A 6V) 4500K, Ra9050, E900 flux, sm453 (3 steps McAdams, tightest bin available)
NV4L144AM Data sheet (link is external) This 4500K 9050 will be available in mid December 2016 due to raw material shortage – Nichia Rep” Emitters are much like XHP50 emitters in that they are both big and need 6v, sort of an XHP50 without the cross and a high CRI. Am I close?
They are close, djozz has a test posted of them. It does still have a cross but not as noticeable. It is a good high output high CRI LED but it won’t match the XHP50 in raw power like most Nichia LED’s.
Sorry, I ran out of money to get more than 300pcs of 144A - they’re expensive
Based on Maukka’s test the 5700K (5steps) resulted in lower 5000ish. I assume with 3 steps, we’ll end up the 4500K close to 4200ish. The demand of 5700K and 4500K also higher.
