Test/review of LG 18650 HG2 3000mAh (Brown)

Still like the he2 best

With an amazing price/quality ratio as I see it, I agree without a doubt.

Cheers ^:)

You should try the new 25r m8, its nearly as vtc5 considering int resistance and fet dd drivers performance

Cyan or green wrapper?

Cheers ^:)

Cyan arent produced anymore, if someone has those on stock they are old
Speaking of greens ofc, they constantly make new revisions, the last one is 12 afaik

The upper one is from the last batch
Its also 1.6grams heavier

Mmm, I was suspecting that already but, check this out: http://www.gearbest.com/25r-_gear/

Are you running some sort of battery retailer/distributor business, Mitko? LoL!

Cheers ^:)

Well those are pictures only m8, Gb sells alot, they prolly have from those too: aint sure though, those are local EU breeds - Poland

Haha nope, just a hard BLFer m8

HG2/HE2 has been changed too , they were performing better than 30q when annoyced

As always, nice test HKJ,
now if only our resourceful chinese suppliers could find a was to ship li-ion cells to Europe that would be bliss.
I only managed to get 4 of this cells before new shipping regulations screwed everything.

I have to dig this out because of reasons.
I read somewhere, that the HG2 age pretty badly and that they lose capacity fairly fast compared to the 30Q.

Since GB offers them for €14.02 I would like to know if this is true or not.

I would use them in the Utorch UT03 so I need some good High Current Cells

You may want to check here L4M4: https://liitokalahongkong.aliexpress.com/store/217753

Can buy a 4-pack of INR18650-30Qs for ≈€14.

Shipping: US $3.68 to Germany via Turkey Post
-> $19.86

meh

I’ll just wait until GB fixes their 30Q Code and buy them there. Let’s play it safe

But very interesting Store, just like the Colaier one. I read somewhere that Liitokala and Colaier are basically the same company, they just rebrand all their products to Colaier. I like the name Liitokala more.

Recently I received a pack of 4 30Q and they were all charged at 3.41 volts.
Were they old stock or stored incorrectly?

Happened to me too, a pair from the Colaier store.

It's within tolerance margin, nothing to worry.

Helo to all
Did someone tested batteries from Liitokala aliexpress shop. They say that bateries are genuine…

Are realy genuine?? reated capacity??

svicar1, discerning the authenticity of a cell is more than just a matter of measuring capacity, discharge performance also matters, along with looks and shape of the cell.

While I am not going to say there's no chance to find AliExpress sellers trying to sell fake cells, certainly a bit of common sense matters. The AliExpress way of doing things encourages honest sellers, they don't see a dime until the customer has received and checked their packages. The ubiquity of customer reviews helps too.

Got a pair of 30Q cells from what was known as the Colaier Direct Sales Store months ago. Flawless performance in a Sofirn C8T FET flashlight.

Cheers

I only ask if someone tested some liitokala batteries that are rated as 100% original LG or Samsung or Sanyo or Panasonic…If this store is trustable…

Just checked them out. They are selling a set of 5 30Qs for $20, only $57 shipping to S.A.

In regards to this LGHG2.I am not impressed at all. I have had two of them. One of them was 15 months old and the capacity dropped to under 2400 mAh. In addition it got so hot on the charger that I decided to recycle it. I’m not home or I would post the photo from my opus. My VTC5 which was a year older and had many more Cycles actually had more capacity.

The VTC6 ended up losing the most capacity in Mooch's accelerated aging test. What a shame is, in my opinion, to pay a price premium and perform like the worst (or worse) after a few months.

Samdung is my price/quality choice (Power Dong Battery too). :-D

Yes Samsung INR 30 Q is the best in long term use.
