Really?? after i’ve email twice attached photo twice and all i got was “we need to confirm with the product department” then sorry and $5 compensation (feel like falling on deaf ears). Even explained last 2-3mth ordered about 16 light and none neutral-white so yeah you can re-check the order if you like!! The reason i accept the compensation?
1) Avoid the headache email back/forth and then have contact Paypal; twice should be enough!
2) The more i think about the issue i realize the issue lies with Lumintop packaging and not really GB order-picker fault; also fact this my first case.
3) Can always give to family member see if they can get use out of it.
What really irritate me was Gb make me feel like it my fault order wrong product, which end of the day i’m paying for something i’m never get to use. Anyhow let bygones be bygones and i cant wait for Klarus Mi7-Ti -anyone else excited or just me??
Here’s the thing, I don’t want another Tool Cree, I already own the Tool Cu with the Cree emitter, I bought this because it was supposed to be a Nichia.
MSRP is irrelevant, you make as if GB was doing me a favor and giving me a flashlight out of the goodness of their heart. They sold item A and delivered item B. Would you still be taking this high horse if I paid $70? Why would MSRP or discount amount affect a sellers responsibility to provide what was advertised?
Edit: just to be clear, I don’t “want more money back”. I’ll be perfectly happy returning the item to GB in exchange for a Nichia OR for a refund. Understandably, the return would have to be on their expense, ultimately they’re responsible for their mistakes.
I’m afraid I don’t have those skills yet, especially something this small. I’d gladly accept the $10 Gearbest money and transfer to you if you’re offering your services.
Ha! But then I’ll be suckered into placing another purchase with Gearbest, it’s hard enough as it is to resist. Truth be told, they have some great promotions, it’s the customer service that sucks.
If PayPal doesn’t decide in my favor and I’m stuck with this, I plan on listing the light here at cost+sh. I’d love to see how many “it’s a great deal anyway” people take me up on it. That’ll be the ideal win-win
I would agree with you a year (or even some months) ago. Lately I see much better CS from GB in comparison with that period.
If you list it in here at cost+shipping, I don’t believe many members would be interested. They could buy it at the same cost and (maybe) lower shipping from GB when the deal was announced. I’m one of those who resisted that deal. I wouldn’t resist though at $13.99+shipping!

Receiving wrong product is sucks. But hey, we can’t find titanium light at $13.99 anywhere, unless probably get it from manufacturer directly. If it were me, I would still consider this as a good deal.

The labels are reversed on my box, with the side saying XP-G2 R5 and the top says TOOL TI-NICHIA
I already had the Rey Tool Ti which I’m happy with, just wanted to compare the two.
I’m not unhappy enough to pay for more shipping, butt iffn you want to use your $10 for that, then I’d swap with you, sure.

Gearbest…you do have some pretty good deals but I’ve had nothing but bad experiences with you. I’m afraid that I won’t get what I order or it’ll come damaged. I reserved 10 BLF 348s but when I found out they would be order through you…I just decided not to.

Its GB wallet right? If it is, it can be used together with coupon.
Just for example, klarus C4 has coupon code that will bring it down to $11.11. So with GB wallet, you will only need to pay $1.11

This is very unfortunate. I ordered one as well and experienced the same problem. Has anyone had their situation satisfactorily resolved by GearBest or their representative on this forum?
Forcing GB to do a full refund will only prevent future deals like this from showing up. The box says both CREE and Nichia, so it is most likely a manufacturer’s fault. Not everyone is familiar enough with flashlights to identify the emitter by looks, maybe the dispatcher at GB didn’t check, or didn’t know how to, it’s not like they sent a completely wrong item or a defective one.
I would gladly take the $5 credit, $18.99 for a titanium tool, how is that not a steal?
