XTAR 18700 3100Mah....?

I am glad everyone is sending emails to XTAR for batteries but I would appreciate it if the guys who actually have the equipment and are capable of reviewing these batteries properly are the ones who will receive these as I think these will be very popular here at BLF if they prove to be good and well priced :) Just a thought;)

Groupbuy again!

Dear Kevin,

I have sent you a request for samples of these Xtar 18700 3100mAh(with panasonic cells inside) through my yahoomail address. I hope that you will take the time to read my email and accomodate my request.

Thank you for whatever consideration you can render me in this regards.

Sincerely yours,

lyonn

X3 on the group buy!

Would be awesome...! :D

Seems a little counter-intuitive, considering the request for testers, and the statement that the batteries are in the pipeline, but they already seem to be listed here: -

Ditto!

When they are expected to be available in retail ? And what will be the price ?

I think after a series of tests(which might take weeks), if the performance is good, then we will produce it in larger volume. The dealer will post at the commercial seller's spot. As for the price, how much do you guys think is acceptable?

$16 a pair would be good by me if they are right at 3000MAH

$15 would be even better. But I don't won't to get to cheap.

I guess 15/16$ is not possible ...but the price need to be competitive for sure. If it'll be under 20$/pair, that will be definitely good price.

Well heck the Xtar 18700 2600MAH were only $13.50 a pair. $20 is getting up there. But that is my opinion. If your going to pay $20 for a set of these when for $7 more you can get 4 of the 2600MAH, I know which ones I would rather buy.

$20 would be a good price, just looked on HKE and the panasonics they are based on cost more, heck the trustfire 3000s cost $16.

I would go $20/pair if the quality of the wrapper and pcb are up to the Xtar standards and the capacity is close to the stated 3100Mah

+1 for Group buy

Don't forget we are talking about price shipped !!! Just to refresh - Group buy for pair of XTAR 2600 mAh was $13.50 shipped. If you extrapolate price based on capacity you get $16.10 so final $18 shipped for BLF members seems to be just fine.

Yes... I wouldnt mind paying $16 for a set... ;)

Maybe a $14 or $15/pair special introductory rate special?

For BudgetLightForum Members.

You can't work it out like that! It's not a linear relationship between cost and capacity! I'd happily give $27 for a couple of 5.2Ah 18650s ;)
