Photos of your lights strip, polished, baked, or whatever you thinks it look good!

S41 just got stripped and polished up.

this light is on my shopping list! :+1:

I have a few already, including the S41S plain SS. This one has the looks of the S41S without the weight.
Empty at the moment though. Pondering what to put on the Tpad Quad board. Got a scratch on the bezel taking this one apart so it got stripped. Serious glue on the latest versions, just a heads up.

Wait for a deal on it. I have paid as little as $30 for one. $32-34 is normal deal from BG. If I see something I will LYK.

thank vwpieces! that the one I want it S41S and Polish alot that if I get it.

No problem,
Best deal on S41S is on the first page of the original thread. $38 with code

I polished the aluminum S41, pictured above, to get the look of the S41S without the weight.

Thank! Yes that a stainless steel bezel and is one of my favorite light for now.

Nice! are these available anywhere?

Tried to Bake my VG-10, Couldn’t get the head to match body and tail. Ended up with hard baked body and tail, stripped and polished the head and 2 rings on the body to blend it a bit.

Buy another one and change the head, it still look good to me the way it is!

I have another one… :+1:
Bake & polished will remain as is, I like it. Empty at the moment, but that will change tomorrow. Think this one will go XP-L HI on a FET. Will toy with some triple/quad spacers I have and if I have something I can get to easily work, it will go that route.
Other got an XM-L2 U4 1A on Noctigon and stock driver, bypassed springs.

Looks amazing VW, real smart and love the look :+1:

NEW YEAR ☆ 2017

I wish you, family and BLF a happy new year!

I receive my Astrolux S41S couple days ago I decide to polish, my first stainless steel light polish.

This is the best looking L6 I have ever seen!
Rat style  looks like it was used for 30 years and a little bit rusted and abused. Nice job!

Agreed!

My first try to get a vintage looking light ended like this:

I deanodized the parts with sodium hydroxide and applied oven cleaner after that. Well, the sodium hydroxide completely dissolved the head. Either it was a different alloy or it was just too thin. I will keep on trying.

Yes I agree both look good!
