Gearbest Daily Deal Updated: March 16th 2021/ Baseus LED Flashlight $21.99 with the code: GBREAKER

any more cheap deals for flashlights?

Please add Hungary to the list
12-18$ shipping cost unrealistic. BG and FT can now also be delivered for free.

The shipping cost for Bulgaria also got insaneā€¦ Hope GearBest will fix it soon. :+1:

thanks for your feedback, only if the countries sales goes to TOP20, then it will be a big possibilty to have a freeshipping

Can't buy knives - no shipping method to Israel. A week ago ordered without any problems :(

Despite the fact that Greece is within the countries that some items (but not batteries :expressionless: ) have free shipping, I believe thatā€™s unfair, cause annual turnover depends (among others) by population and average income.
What you should really care, is if packages get lost in the way to certain countries. I know that Hellenic Post (ELTA) is one of the most reliable state postal service providers, so itā€™s normal that free shipping option is offered (but NOT batteries :rage: ). Unfortunately for A_M_K, Bulgaria isnā€™t according to EU statistics. The strange fact though is that GB offers free shipping to Romania, that official EU statistics show itā€™s in the worst place.

Anyway, please give us GBā€™s Top 40 countries list and the annual turnover per country so far, or the percentage of each country to GBā€™s annual turnover (so that you donā€™t give us ā€œprivateā€ data).
Iā€™d like to know where Greece stands, cause I know we might be low on population and average income, but a lot of Greeks are buying online from China last couple of years.

Guys, I know it sucks, but you have to understand its not their decision not to send batteries and power banks to some countries, they would like nothing more than to sell more (of any goods).
As already mentioned and explained some association that gathers Airline companies made new regulations for all companies to follow: no shipping loose batteries (cells) and divices like power banks without special security measures that cost way to much to even be considered as an option.
None of the shops active on this forum delivers batteries to my location but I cant be mad at them, itā€™s not their fault, I am sure they would love to get even more of my money :stuck_out_tongue:

Thenā€¦ how come many other e-shops manage to send batteries with free shipping?

+1 :+1:

GearBest my favorite online store where I buy. Iā€™ve never had trouble with them, each packet has arrived. The prices are very good compared to the others. :+1:
The price of the battery is they want to spend. :money_mouth_face:

Which e-shops? What are the prices of cells/shipping costs (you say free)? There must be a reason why you havenā€™t ordered from those e-shops instead of expressing your unsatisfaction here?
You can send me a PM not to derail this thread even more.
GB, FT, DX, KD, BG none of them sends batteries to me location (I am very close to Greece), responsible sellers on Aliexpress tell me befor I buy that they can not send batteries and the others that either do not understand question or donā€™t care will send them but they will be returned and then I have to mess with dispute/refund.
I havenā€™t tried ordering via ebay because I do not have trusted seller that only sales genuine cells and I donā€™t want to be obligated to test every single cell I order.

How can you tell I havenā€™t ordered batteries from other e-shops that ship free to Greece?
Ofcourse Iā€™ve ordered (e.g. KD).
I canā€™t know whatā€™s every storeā€™s shipping policy to your country, so Iā€™m gonna PM you some of those Iā€™m buying from with free shipping and had no problems so far.

BTW, this is ā€œCommercial Sellersā€™ Spotā€ thread.
A Commercial Sellerā€™s representative in a forum should read all memberā€™s opinions and proposals.
In that spirit, I donā€™t believe my (and everybody elseā€™s) thoughts/complaints/suggestions are off-topic. :sunglasses:

so why do they ship batteries for free (unregistered) to slovakia for example? if it was all about the new regulations of airline companies than it would affect them too, i guess. and yes, there are webshops that still ship batteries for free. anyways, iā€™m still sticking by gearbest and hope this issue will be solved soon.

@Sirius9: PMā€™d ya. :wink:

Thanks, I will check them out. :+1:

I can only assume, maybe they found some shipping company that has a direct flight to Slovakia and is willing to close one eye on a regulations as long as they have some profit from that.
One thing is certain, GearBest is, same as any company, profit oriented, if there is money to make in selling something they will sale it so I am 100% sure that if they could make money by selling batteries to Hungaria, Slovenia, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria etc. and the only obsticle is their own decision ā€œshould we do it or notā€ we would not have this conversation and good & cheap cells would be on their way to us.

They might havenā€™t bothered enough themselves (as others did) to find the solution.
Itā€™s a question of priorities:

  • ā€œShould we spend sometime to figure out how to do that, or should we focus on something else more urgent, since sales go fine without it?ā€
I can understand that as a sales strategy (if it is like that), but I donā€™t like it. Since I donā€™t like it and I see that a certain e-shop does nothing to improve that situation but is turning itā€™s back to me, most probably Iā€™m gonna turn my back also and go shopping everything (not only batteries) from somebody else who values better my money. If many discontented customers do that and inform why theyā€™re doing it, then maybe they see their mistake and do something about it.

OK then, full angry face-s :rage: :rage: :rage: :rage: ā€œGB, start shipping batteries immediately.ā€

ā€¦am I doing it right?

yep, i can agree with that. obviously, they donā€™t do what they do to mess with us.

Nope, youā€™re not doing it right, cause you obviously didnā€™t (or donā€™t want to) understand what I wrote and how I wrote it. Iā€™m really sorry, but I have to quote part of my answer at the PM youā€™ve sent me (answering to my PM that I was informing you for e-shops that ship free batteries in Greece), in order to ā€œdefendā€ myself (and not an e-shop :stuck_out_tongue: for itā€™s ā€œunfairā€ shipping policy) :

As Iā€™ve also told you at my answering PM, ā€œIā€™m not simply affraidā€¦ Iā€™m certain that youā€™ve misunderstood most of what I wrote. Thatā€™s why your answer is agressive. It shouldnā€™t be, weā€™re in the same side. :sunglasses: Weā€™re customers/consumers, trying to get the best deal for the money we spend to buy stuff from sellers. They (sellers) are the ones who have to find solutions in order to make higher sales and take our money.ā€

I also agree with that. Itā€™s absolutely logical. Never said the opposite. But Iā€™m also wondering:

Hi evankourosļ¼Œ

thanks for your are willing to order batteries form GearBest, but Iā€™m sorry because of the reason of the shipping companies, and regulation of different countries, for now itā€™s best we could do, and thanks for Sirius9 help to explain here, and he is right, we will never miss the chance to offer you great sales for battery if we could

as itā€™s the deal thread, Iā€™m wondering if you we donā€™t discuss this too much here, thanks

and also I will PM you something about the shipping method of the battery

Thanks for your answer, waiting for your pm. :sunglasses:
In order not to loose any time saying the same things over and over again, please read at my previous posts my honest opinion and see the links for the EU air-mail statistics per country.
