Xtar Moon Rc2, a very different light distribution, more useful for close quarter work, clips onto clothing for odd jobs and make a decent lamp in a crunch.
I wish it had a 1000 lumen mode
Not sure if the blf A6 qualifies as it debuted in 2015? Still love mine. Bought an astrolux S1 for a friend he takes it wherever he goes.
My choices are the copper Astrolux S3/Kronos X5 and the eagle eye X2r. I’ve bought 3 x2r for presents. With a protected battery, they’re virtually idiot proof. Like the neutral white tint too.
Convoy L6, no doubts about that. Price/performance ratio is astonishing. Add another $1 in mods (resistors) and you have 4000+ lm flashlight for less than $60.
Convoy L6, hands off. Best bang for the buck. And the lighting is good too.
Special award for first shiny clear ano.
Eagle Eye X2R for putting the Reloadable into my beloved S2+ size. (Still waiting for S2+R.)
Astrolux S41/Manker E14. It lost a lot of its reputation but if you got a good one it is a very nice little light with a lot of power. A small quad powerhouse.
Jaxman M8, a smaller, pocketable C8 (may be a 2015 light though...?)
Special mention: Convoy S2+ Nichia UV 365 nm. One of the best quality UV LEDs in a great flashlight body. Possibly the best ready-made budget UV light you can buy.
Doesn’t full price mean, “we set a totally unrealistic price so we can ” discount” it and sell it for normal or little above true value “?
$20 for a tube EDC seems pretty normal to me.
