Convoy L6, hands off. Best bang for the buck. And the lighting is good too.
Special award for first shiny clear ano.
Eagle Eye X2R for putting the Reloadable into my beloved S2+ size. (Still waiting for S2+R.)
Astrolux S41/Manker E14. It lost a lot of its reputation but if you got a good one it is a very nice little light with a lot of power. A small quad powerhouse.
Jaxman M8, a smaller, pocketable C8 (may be a 2015 light though...?)
Special mention: Convoy S2+ Nichia UV 365 nm. One of the best quality UV LEDs in a great flashlight body. Possibly the best ready-made budget UV light you can buy.
Doesn’t full price mean, “we set a totally unrealistic price so we can ” discount” it and sell it for normal or little above true value “?
$20 for a tube EDC seems pretty normal to me.
…there has been so many great lights this year that it is hard to make a choice…
The Convoy L6 is certainly in the top three “best value” lights.
The Astrolux S41 and S41S are beautiful compact quads with a copper head, but a tad pricey without a promo code.
The Astrolux A01 copper/nichia i like a lot too.
The Lumintop Tool Ti Reylight Nichia edition is a little expensive jewel i’m glad to have.
…now waiting to receive the Klarus Mi7 Ti and Lumintop Prince mini…
Torn between the BLF A6 and the MaxToch 2X Shooter. Both are revolutionary lights in their own way and both were built with BLF Member input in their design. Honorable mention to the BLF348 whose popularity in GB’s is unmatched at ~2000 units bought by us here
Jaxman Z1 XHP50 (best zoomie out there IMHO) & my most used light this year due to it”s versatility, & Thorfire S70 for a beast of a powerful light for the price.
Mine is the Reylight Ti I Host. It’s only partially built so far (I haven’t decided what to build in the light engine yet.) Nevertheless it’s a pretty light & a nice quality host if you like to fiddle around.
There are some online options and some offline. If it is convenient and easy to order the desired lights online then you check out the online solutions as available. It is good to select the company that is an expert in these products and that would send you across the very best lights.
Klarus XT11GT for me this year, keep in mind i do own BLF A6, Convoy L6 and many other good budget yet bright option but the innovation on the Klarus XT11GT is something impressive, having the ability to operate from the sideswitch grip to tactical reverse grip is something you dont really see from other flashlight.
Manker U11 - for it’s versatility, power in a small package, built-in charging. To go for a trip - just need to take this light and standard phone charger, that’s it. For most occasional users it’s perfect.
Astrolux A01 - almost perfect keychain light, finally with high CRI. Need more of those. I wish it was not a twisty…
BLF X5 and X6 - power & beauty…and great modes and everything is nice in those lights.
Olight H1 - don’t have it yet, but I’m in a remote love with this little one Waiting for delivery…
Eagle Eye X2R - best proposal for an ordinary, unexperienced user.
