Should have asked “Am I going to get screwed over on this deal and have to request a replacement or refund because you are avoiding my initial question”? Sorry, but that’s also too technical of a question .

One thing they do understand however, is how to take and make your funds scurry South into some deep China pockets. Then it’s up to you to pull your hair out over nonsensical back and forth e-mails. And, when all else fails, it will finally dawn upon you that all you have left is to threaten the dreaded PP word……….PayPal. Oh, the horror !

But to be fair, and we are fair are we not?, the positives do outweigh the negatives with the Big 2 Vendors, namely, Banggood & Gearbest. It’s just when things go wrong, your good times become bad times because of the nonsensical back and forths. I’m interested in buying some of your great Nitecore TIP Winter Edition gift set (Blue/Red & Green/Red), as I’m a great fan of your products and I believe these are a great gift for X’mas.

Please inform if all of these Winter gift set you have produced (from the begining up to now) are the upgraded V.2 (without the lockout drain bug that battery dies in a couple of days), or if you had also produced some V.1 that are out in the market for sale (I've asked some sellers but they haven't answered clearly so far).

Since you say that it’s V1 (with lockout drain bug), this is a problem you must inform your clients at the item’s page (I’ve made relative question at the product’s FAQ section but your answer there wasn’t clear).

The best solution would be to stop selling these items because of their problem and return them to the manufacturer (Nitecore) to upgrade them to V2 (or replace them).

The sure thing is that I’m not going to buy a TIP V1 and that I’ll inform all the flashlight forums I’m a member (e.g. BLF) regarding the information you told me.

I really hope you’ll do the best for your customers…

At the same time, here's the NOT clear of GB's CS answer to my Ticket, after "confirmation by their technical team":

The games you get when gearbest send you the wrong stuff/colour /tint etc in your
order, coupled with the fun of waiting months for you wrong order to arrive, are probably enough for most people.
Although you probably got more chance of winning on here than you have with gearbest customer service department :partying_face:
