Can you just remove the protective pcb to make it fit?
I have several of those in transit to my place.

Batteryās pcb ? Yes (but not really good solution)
How about clip? I have a similar light with a similar clip, and I can not insert easy, is very closed for the flashlight
Regards
Clip is really hard to insert too.

Thanks for confirm. I any case, great light for 14500 unprotected and awesome for NiMH.

UT01 ?
Thanks for saying this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQHn1BFt-u0
The user manual is a complete photocopy of the Manker E11ās, just without the Manker logo.
Without trying to sound too controversial, may I ask if this torch, and the UT02, have been copied out of spite for Manker?
Btw, thanks for the review, giorgoskok. Iām now going to buy more than one.
Sorry , UT01 i meant .
So, only 0.3-0.4mm length difference makes such a damage... :(
I guess that there might be even some IMRs that won't fit then.
Anyway, I've ordered a pair of 49.5mm UR14500P and a pair of 50mm TF IMR14500, so I will have 14500s that fit, but... do you think that there might be a problem with flat-top cells? Will the UT01 work with these?
They will fit.
Most IMR without button top work ok
Thanks, George.
(Still naively? hoping for a shorter/protected/quality cell out there or a work around)
Thanks Giorgos! :+1:
Give us the lumen/cd data now, cause I canāt waitā¦ I wanna order this little AA monster and compare it ot Mi7!
I will update the post when i have these values , be patient
I was, till I saw the first part of your review!
Only think that it needs special treatment is the length of the battery , nothing more .
Updated OP with intensity measurements .
Now running runtime test (Medium mode , 14500 battery) .
Tomorrow will update with amperage draw on AA and lumens . These should have been updated today but i had zero free timeā¦
Thanks for the info.
I donāt want to pull the thread off track at allā¦ā¦but somebody help me. This was in the OP:
Eneloop AA 2000mAh :
Amperage Draw :
Lowest ā
Low ā
Medium ā
High ā 4.2A to 3.3A
I am not going to claim any sort of knowledge hereā¦but how does a AA put out 4.2A??? I donāt understand all these currents, draws etc.
I wrote it that ways because i see 4.2 amps in my clamp meter for some seconds .
Donāt forget that UT01ās driver , when you insert a AA battery acts like a boost driver . boosts 1.5 volts to 3V that led operates .
Also measured output with AA , high mode is about 340-350 lumens .
