[SALE] High CRI 90+ Nichias (ENDED)

Sure, he’s my friend. I can get all the unused colour cards he has. Unfortunately those are also the least complete too. Less card with more complete colour samples should be better.

I think it’s mainly caused by the glue spray I used. I wiped the excess sticky stuff on the cards with wet towel, thus the smear marks. Some materials respond stronger to UV.

Please don’t, high CRI minus the UV is much better for our eyes

Actually the cool white 144A has the highest violet-blue (480nm) spectrum proportion compared the other high CRI Nichias (> than 40%). But still far away from the UV region

O… Sorry…
GREAT job, Clemence !!

I think we’re looking for a “color wheel” though:

BUT, when you print it it will be made up of yellow, red and blue, so that wouldn’t work either…

Maukka probably knows what you would need.

Hmmm…
So basically true daylight from an LED would also need UV then…
Cyan is difficult too.
That would mean you have to add a 400nm LED and a cyan LED to it…
And while you’re at it, still a little more deep red…
:person_facepalming:

I think i’ll settle for Nichias…

But maybe interesting for EU members:

I meant that sunlight is still better which is no suprise.

It can be whiter than sunlight though, because sunlight has some narrow bands missing, the ‘Frauenhofer field lines’ i.i.r.c.

Was not expecting a tracking notification from you this soon! Awesome, thanks.

Yeah, I’m just wondering how the stuff outdoors responds to it. It must have at least a small effect on some surfaces.

Don’t worry, I wouldn’t do something that stupid. Those LEDs are good enough for me. I just wish I could easily light the whole house with them.

For the people who bought the leds via me:

Sorry guys, the package from Clemence to me is stuck somewhere in the Netherlands since last sunday. 17track.net says ‘on hold’, Postnl does not recognise the barcode (yet). Could be hold up by customs, I don’t know.

I hate to be in this position, I owe $600 worth of leds to people that I want to deliver and the mail holds the package at an unknown place for unknown reason, even though it was carefully sent by Clemence (and payed for by me) trackable, insured and as an EMS package for priority.

I sometimes think that as long as you send stuff as an unmarked untracked and uninsured package, it arrives without problems and on time, and if you want the mail to care about the delivery, the whole process slows down and the package gets stuck in random places.

I feel bad to make it “marked” but I didn’t want to just send USD600 worth of package without a clear declaration to the post office. I do hope it’s held by the custom rather than lost. I put your number on the package Jos, they should call you when it’s sorted out.

- Clemence

Edited: tracking number blurred

Don’t worry and don’t feel bad Jos. Nobody here is going to hold it against you because delay is not fault and situation is out of your hands at this moment.

Hi djozz, I sent you PM other day, about my payment!

sorry, answered

Postal nazis…

I received my 3000k emitters today and built up a couple of copper S2+ pills - a single and a triple. Both use the new Convoy driver - the single has 1.5a max and the triple has 3a max and narrow frosted optic. The tint is wonderful. These will be my most used lights for around the house, backpacking, bikepacking, etc.

Thanks to all the folks who put time and energy into obtaining and distributing these fantastic LEDs.

Good for you. Let’s hope I could get wider CCT selection next time

I agee, the tint is fantastic, I wish I had the funds to get the last remaining ones, Sadly not even sure I will be able to afford the ones I already have my name on lol.

I have built a few lights so far and building more over the next few days.

I also ran a full output test that lines up with djozz earlier 219C I will be posting at some point.

I was worried that 4000k could be too warm but it is perfect for me!

Please link your tests here Tex

Yep, I plan to. I just released my first offical LED test here: XP-L2 V5 Output & Death test by Texas_Ace Over 2200 lumens! Still worked after 15 Amps!

2200 lumens from an XP-L2!

I want to see the feedback on that thread to standaridize my layout before posting more but I will be sure to post a link here when I get to the 219C. Also got some XHP35 and even a latticebright “XM-L” test ready……

This really pisses me off…
I mean WTF !?
It’s not drugs or fake Rolexes something…
And why don’t they contact Djozz?
Probably some @$$hole pencil pusher with no purpose in life trying to make others as miserable as himself.
Just so Dutch…
