I’m no expert….but I would answer that question by doing a charge and discharge test (if you have a smart charger / tester)

I would do that but the two cells are sealed in Heat shrink (I cut it back a little to see the model number) and they are wired in parallel. I don’t really want to dismantle the whole battery pack as I probably won’t get it back together again.
If they’re in parallel then you can use a dowel in the charger with the wires at the ends. You should get double capacity.

They do seem to exist as a complete cell, rather than just a shrink wrap label made/faked by someone who never got passed the letters a,b and c whilst learning English from watching Sesame Street
Are they fake, probably not, seems a strange cell to fake only to cover it with black heat shrink.
But who knows, as others have said you really need to do a discharge test to be 100 % sure
Thanks for those extra links. I did look but what worried me was that there were only links to Alibaba and none to other sites.
Does seem to back up they might be real, as you said; can’t know for sure without a capacity test.
The seller of the light said they were Samsung cells, and the battery pack sticker covering the rubber sleeve said so too. Evidently not samsung!
Also the links seem to suggest a capacity of about 2.8Ah, yet the seller said the battery was 5.2Ah (2 x 2.6Ah).
Oh how I’d love to see the inner workings of a seller like this’ mind… 
Seems a strange thing to do, advertise samsung but deliver LG, and quote a lower capacity? First time I’ve seen that.
Manufactors often switch internal components over time not adjusting product description

Its likely first batch contained Samsung 18650-26F or similar cells
Yep I couldn’t find any real data on them, but then often that seems to be the case for less well known 18650 cells.
I’ve pulled branded cells out of genuine laptop packs before but not been able to find info or any official data about them online.
Found these LGABB41865 cells, I’d say these are definitely genuine lg cells, you can see the remains of the spot welds on them, they are a B instead if a C but it would seem to suggest your LGABC41865 cells may have been destined for laptop packs just as the LGABB4 1865 were, so are probably genuine if Un exciting lg cells, which is probably why there are no data sheets or reliable info readily available on line for them.
Just my opinion though of course
parrelel are very safe. just use them and when the capasity is an issue make a new updated battery for the light.
