Convoy S2 Shorty Rechargeable Mule

… what kind of a person takes the head of a flashlight, and thinks of making a flashlight out of it???

put me on the pre-order list again

Nice  !

Wow!

Wow, when I saw the title I thought it was going to be similar to the s2+ shorty. Nope! Awesome work dude!

Nice work!

No magnet ? :zipper_mouth_face:
JK, well done !

Great work!!

I don’t normally like short fat lights, but this one is awesome. :+1: on the “Thumb-Light”

Phil

Yikes. I better get cracking!

What the heck?? THATS AWESOME DUUUUDE

Awesome idea! :+1:

.

I’ve been using this cheap stuff kafuter, it’s the finishing technique that counts (that’s what she says anyway)

.

No, it’s just the six of us

.

See above…

.

No, this one is meant for just tailstanding or laying on it’s side, the red light has two brightness levels depending on which position. 1.5mA is a little high for a locator light and will require recharging every couple of days but i chose that level so you can read by it or have very low level illumination.

How much are these and when does the ordering start?

wonderful, when will the group buy start?

CRX, you’ve got unrestrained imagination mate! :open_mouth:
I don’t know if it gets hot when running, but it’s a very cool work you’ve done!!! :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:
RESPECT

Thanks very much mate, it has the olight s10 driver and virtually no heatsink so it does get warm on high mode but not excessively so.

That is some really nice work, would you mind sharing your finishing technique with us?

Thanks mate, i’m not sure what you mean, do you mean the UV glue? That is applied slowly and very carefully on a flat level surface then wiped over with kitchen roll and lighter fluid then polished with spit & an old cloth. Takes some practice. Good idea to keep some cottonbuds close by for emergency removal of excess glue

Haha, thanks, I meant the UV glue. I am sure “she” likes your other finishing technique but I am only interested in the UV glue.

Is kitchen roll just paper towel or is it the open weave cloth/fabric stuff that comes in a roll?

The cheap stuff i’ve been using leaves a sort of sticky film on top when hardened so yeah paper towels or similar i use to wipe that off, iso alcohol would probably be good too but don’t use acetone or the likes.
