Ok so the big deals are over. (well i got what i wanted LOL!)

Just to help Summer to post. I am going to take a partial retirement from buying. Currently only have 3 small orders (drop-in from DD and Zebra clone UF-V4 from MAnafont) and 1 large order (the TR-J12 5 x XM-L).

Bold is the price you will pay.

1 iTP A3 $18.99---$17.03

2 Klarus P2A $29.69---$26.45

3 Jetbeam BC40 $52.69---after coupon $42.69

Summer will post the codes soon. Just add on to the end of the thread if you are interested in a particular light and post the number of pcs. Shouldn't be an issue coz the low pricings for Xmas are well known. From my experience, there is no obligation.

Note : For this GB I negotiated with them to give the absolute best price. This DOES NOT include Registered Article number via China Post Air Mail. You have to buy that $2 Insurance during Checkout process. Ultimately it depends on your preference.

I'd say the Klarus and ITP looks good.

I'd advise this to be run for just 4 days and Summer post the codes on 2nd Jan. Then you start ordering and close after 2 days on 5th Jan and Dinodirect can source and fufil the orders. If you delay and you come within 1 week of Chinese New Year (21st Jan), i am sure the outcome would be ugly. As long as orders are out of the China 1 week before CNY I think it's very safe and the packages are on their way as per standard. Don't worry if you miss this, there are lots of chances in the future. If you are not comfortable with any possible delays, DO NOT BUY and later complain here, nobody likes misunderstandings. This goes for any orders with any other dealers as well anyway....

BTW, Dinodirect can support BLF by buying an Ad spot in the commercial sellers spot. This way they can raise their profile too. I think the situation has definitely matured and improved.

Sadly that itp A3 is SINGLE MODE (be carefull)

Hi and here is the links for the three flashlights

1.iTP A3 http://www.dinodirect.com/flashlight-itp-a3-eos-standard-mini-keychain.html

2 Klarus P2A http://www.dinodirect.com/flashlight-klarus-comprehensive-listing-tactical-bright-lumens-aa.html

3 Jetbeam BC40 http://www.dinodirect.com/led-flashlight-flashlight-holster-130lm-830lm-2mode.html

Yes, Ric mentioned before that it's literally impossible to source multimode drivers for AAA that small, that's why the CQG S1 AAA is also single with its 11.5mm dia. iTP A3 is 14mm. My Tank TK-703 is also single mode. Maybe there are, for more advanced lights. IIRC the Skilhunt Ramble I AAA has 2 modes but that's 16mm diameter thick.

I agree. I would be in for at least one Klarus, except I already ordered a P2A weeks ago and I have already ordered two replacements for the A3 DD couldn't source at that time. The BC40 doesn't do anything for me personally, but I'm probably not who Jetbeam had in mind when they designed it either. So that's fine.

I am still kicking myself for not picking up at least one stainless i1 at the old price.

Fenix LD01, DQG I, DQG II, 4Sevens Revo/Klarus Mi 10, Klarus X6, Klarus X5 (AAAA flashlight), Jetbeam Mju (very old) are a good examples, that thin light can also have modes. Just take a look at Klarus X5 head dimensions. The thickest is LD01 which is 14mm, the rest is even narrower and what's more, they are current controlled (except Jetbeam Mju).

As for the GB, I don't understand... The prices you wrote are available with standard DD coupons, so what "group buy" has to do with it ?

(1) I did say "advanced", as mentioned above. (2) Actually i put the "$$$" aspect as well, but i removed it later as i am not sure if that's even a valid comparison. The CQG S1 AAA is 11.5mm and is 15 bucks shipped in a sturdy box. Probably you could even put a variable brightness control ring on it as well and have it gold plated if someone really wants to do it. Thankfully we are able to hold this "conversation" simply because this is BLF. If we do this at CPF LED Flashlights we'd probably see "edited by XXX". LOL!

How do you get a Klarus K2A into your mailbox for just paying 26 bucks through Paypal? LOL! (even with the coupon and sale) With a Ultrafire ICR16340 ($2.39) i could use oneworldweshare and get it down to $27.38 (pls don't use that cell unless you are really careful). Alright so it is very close.

The iTP A3 is 17.83 with fonarevka 6%.

So that is why i said to kick it off next Tue after the holidays with the new coupons and be done with it. You can buy it now if you really want to.

But absolutely no problem at all. As always there is no obligation and different people have difference preferences in their purchases. Here's a nice dealer as well for the BC40. http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/jetbeam-bc40-cree-xml-830lumen-2mode-led-flashlight-4cr123a218650-p-7180

Another one : http://www.batteryjunction.com/jetbeam-bc40.html

You can add some 0.99$ item (to reach 30$ threshold) and throw it to garbage bin when it arrives. Anyway we're speaking here about 1-2$ difference (in case of P2A). This is not much of a discount from widely available prices.

Just for the record, ITP A3 could be bought cheaper in our local shops in the past. And this included freight from China, a lot of custom taxes and finally a margin of profit for the dealer. This is poor deal for ITP. Even in US, there were ITPs 3-mode for 15$ or below. So DD offer of standard one mode ITP for 17$ is just funny.

No offence, but Summer proposals described as "the best they can do" were always (except Fenix E21 and UF "AA" headlamp) beaten by widely available coupons, some time later. I appreciate his/her help very much, regarding our orders or other issues here on BLF, but group buys lately are nothing exciting.

As for the little lights... What makes the AAA light advanced ? ...I guess the circuit? Frankly, I don't believe that a good, reliable, current controlled circuit, with ~10-12mm diameter, would cost more than ~8$ in wholesale (i.e. 100pcs). Even this is a really high price. As the saying goes... "where's a will, there's a way". If a one-man factory (DQG) can make (or find) such circuit for low quantity production, why would others can't ?

If you wanna know, I got my Jetbeam RRT-2 XM-L at much lower prices last time in the 70s. I could not even post the real price in CPF. Keyword is last time. People PMed me and i could not recommend it, simply because that offer is gone. (people complained or something)

I think Coolperl, your goodself DID mention something about the BC40's GB price of about $50 last time was bad. CPF's GB had what...$45, DD can do that. So now it's $42. So people are aiming for $37 now? IIRC it's in this thread. Perhaps someone can drop HKE Stanley or Andy an email and see if they can do $40 or so. Thanks!

I don't say the prices are high (ok, they are for ITP). I admit, the price for BC40 is great. No doubt. I don't expect them (DD) to get lower. I'm only questioning "group buy" hype, for the same price as available in the shop using coupons. I mean... what's the benefit here? Why someone has to participate in a group buy, when he/she can buy it for the same price just using a widely available coupon?

Again. I'm not questioning prices just the product choice.

For this reason, I'd suggest some other product which can't be bought for cheap with available coupons.

Anyway ...let others talk. I have enough stuff in my collection and I guess there are other folks here more interested in a group buy.

I orderd this one wanting the small single mode one. I received the slightly bigger 3-mode. Length around 70 mm.

So perhaps they sell A3 Upgraded version. I remember someone told that he/she received R5 version instead.

I'm with coolperl, no GB needed if you can buy it with coupons whenever you want. Just my 2 cents. (and yes, great prices for Klarus and JB already)

Please send me this code, many thanks Summer and 2100.

Just to ask, is this P2A close in quality to the LD20 or Fenix E21? Is the circuit in it good, etc? Thanks.

For me

LD20>P2A>E21

All have very good circuit (efficient), P2A in high mode it is over 200 lumens, and in low mode last almost 30 hours.
