Malaysia Post - who has an open delivery?

Yeah mine was originally from china, ran through a company called Isreal post which has no computer system, then was transfered to Malaysia post??? It is now showing in United States but I have no idea what city, no flight number, just that it's here but I'm not sure where or how to find out. If it's stuck in customs I get it but I'd like to know for sure

I already have a solution to those shipping concerns for a long time already.

I have stopped wondering which goes how, what goes where, when will tracking appear or go active, etc. etc.

So far and up until now I cannot figure out nor have gotten a plausible explanation on why this package goes through that, so on and so forth.

Just too much worrying about it can make my life miserable.

Yes, my solution is to stop wondering and just forget about the package.

I just have a spreadsheet of what item, tracking number if there is one, was sent by a vendor on what date, then simply crush that out in my list when it finally arrives.

One day youā€™ll back and realize that you worried too much about things that donā€™t really matter!

Almost the same, but IMHO most shipping dates are of no real use. If you ask CS why it is taking so long, they mention a later date and ask you to have a bit more patience. So I start counting days from the notification mail PayPal sends me.

as a fellow malaysian I had no idea why things are stuck in MPC PMIH KLIA

Even my convoy S2 host got stuck there for a month.

Ouch!
Hope everything turns out well.

So far for about 20-30 deliveries of flashlight, li-ion batteries, folding knives, etc, the most my shipment was held up at KLIA is about 2 working days

A parcel that went totally missing is a rare case for me, but it happened recently. Bought the CIMA-1 fixed blade. Never arrive. Theyā€™re shipping the replacement now.

Hi akhyar, what postal method you use? Usually mine last trackable is when it reached KLIA, then no news.

It depends on the sellers actually.
Mostly SingPost, NL or ChinaPost if ordering from PRC.

Hi akhyar, how do u manage to buy folding knives and shipped to Malaysia? I thought they are illegal and most seller wont ship?
Iā€™ve always wanted to get few folding knives but none of them ship to Malaysia.

I guess it depends on your luck? Have some foldings and fixed knives shipped in no problem.

In the event that your shipment is hold by the customs, you can always go talk to them. Itā€™s kinda gray area. Unless itā€™s Balisong/karambit and etc, then itā€™s 100% illegal, if you get caught.

Itā€™s all boils down to whatā€™s the comfortable amount youā€™re willing to risk? Mineā€™s all China stuffs, so the value is negligible. Anyway, they wonā€™t go to your house in the middle of the night and bust your door or something like that. Unless itā€™s crossbow/guns and etc.

Hi Kaizer, where do you bought your knife? What i mean is that i browsed a few site and they donā€™t ship to Malaysia.
Some Chinese seller also dont ship li-ion battery and even power toolsā€¦

Bought mine from Banggood & Gearbest. Also some from eBay. They ship Li-Ion batts now, but needs to check out separately.

Normal folding knives from Ganzo, SRM, Enlan should be OK.
Keep the blade length to be below 4ā€, and no auto, balisong, kerambit, etc.

No problems so far buying knives from Gearbest, AE, DHGate.
But I tend to buy 1 knife at a time, so as not to attract our Kastam

I even bought original Spyderco, ZT, BM, Hinderer from US, which cost about US$ 200 - 300 a piece and luckily all managed to pass though Kastam.

I just browsed gearbest and they does not ship to Malaysia
will try AE and DHgate laterā€¦
Thanks for your info.

That moment when my parcel is still stuck in MPC PMIH KLIA, purchase protection is dying and Simon is on chinese new year holiday unable to extend my protection

For batteries only or all other stuffs as well?

Both batteries and knivesā€¦

At least they didnā€™t lose their football team.

Canā€™t say for sure as I stopped buying from GB for the last month or two. Went with Banggood nowadays. But Iā€™m still receiving my Moras that I bought from eBay without an issue.

I believe u are joking rite? We Malaysians are still very sad for the MH370 and QZ8507 (although they are operated by Airasia Indonesia) incidents and still very mad at the MH17 incidentsā€¦
