Ok, what do you want for Nov group buy from Dinodirect (updated 1st GB for 2012!!)

I don't say the prices are high (ok, they are for ITP). I admit, the price for BC40 is great. No doubt. I don't expect them (DD) to get lower. I'm only questioning "group buy" hype, for the same price as available in the shop using coupons. I mean... what's the benefit here? Why someone has to participate in a group buy, when he/she can buy it for the same price just using a widely available coupon?

Again. I'm not questioning prices just the product choice.

For this reason, I'd suggest some other product which can't be bought for cheap with available coupons.

Anyway ...let others talk. I have enough stuff in my collection and I guess there are other folks here more interested in a group buy.

I orderd this one wanting the small single mode one. I received the slightly bigger 3-mode. Length around 70 mm.

So perhaps they sell A3 Upgraded version. I remember someone told that he/she received R5 version instead.

I'm with coolperl, no GB needed if you can buy it with coupons whenever you want. Just my 2 cents. (and yes, great prices for Klarus and JB already)

Please send me this code, many thanks Summer and 2100.

Just to ask, is this P2A close in quality to the LD20 or Fenix E21? Is the circuit in it good, etc? Thanks.

For me

LD20>P2A>E21

All have very good circuit (efficient), P2A in high mode it is over 200 lumens, and in low mode last almost 30 hours.

I should have put it more clear. I indeed received the upgraded version. (It is mentioned on the head of the flashlight). On the box stands that it is an XP-G R5 LED. But I know to litte about led's to be able tell if it is or not.

i am going to buy the Klarus P1A for 6$ from DD these days. giftcards (from DD customer service), 400 dinopoints (you know where they come from hehe), oneworldweshare coupon, no fonarevka.

that's hilarious, really.

kreisler ...you're going hardcore ;)

A few more orders and they'll ban you (j/k)

I thought that only one giftcard could be used at a time???

DD would ban me?

hmm.. i have the feeling that the DD saga never ends (black friday sales, christmas sales, clearance sales, new year's sale, spring festival sales, etc.).

yep. THEY must end me.

haha

Aaahh, I remember colored A3 version as well. Did you get it in black or it was colored one?

I did order the black version. The one from this link: http://www.dinodirect.com/flashlight-itp-a3-eos-standard-mini-keychain.html

OK, thanks ;)

Anybody has the 15% coupon? Mine can't work. (actually I noticed some of the coupons haven't been working just a few days ago when i was getting my 20mm star, $8 drop-in, batteries etc)

Good luck on buying.

NB...ok the onewordweshare still works, -5 for $30. Fonarevka 6% is evergreen. I can't get SAVE10ME for -10 off $50 to work but i never used that after Christmas though.

Hi you all, our save10me and SAVE18OFFME are valid to Jan 4th. Go for your new year's Plan.

Hi Summer - When does the special sale price on the Klaurs P2A start?

I still see the price as 29.69USD...

Thanks.

Considering the fact that no other website has Klarus stuff on sale, the 29.xxUS$ is already the sales price, isnt it? (has been like that since black friday and pre-christmas ..)

Not much time left, before the price goes up!! see here:

@Summer

Will prices go up or fall after 1 day and 23hrs? haha

Here we still have this two coupon,

Coupon Code: SAVE10ME

Storewide $10 off with order more than $50

Coupon Code: SAVE18OFFME
Storewide $18 off with order more than $80

Duration: Dec.10, 2011 00:00 - Jan.04, 2012 23:59(PST)

And after SAVE10ME coupon, the price of Jetbeam BC40 is same to our Group buy price.

The first two products I will share it in Jan 4th. Hope everyone a happy new year!

To people who think of buying the Klarus P2A for 26.xx$ on Jan 4th:

Me too, i had thought of buying the P2A .. but now i will be pulling the trigger for the P1A, for various reasons. one reason is the flexibility of cells. it is reconfirmed info (from Klarus company) that one can run the P1A with 1x 14500's *without* harming the circuit/driver/PCB and without harming the Cree LED.

With 2x AA-sized cells one has the problem of inserting cells with the exact same voltage, say 2x 1.2V NimH or partly discharged cells (2x 1.1V NimH, 2x 1.4V Alkaline). If you dont, then it is common knowledge that the cells will degrade, i.e. become bad much faster. One effectively decreases the life expectancy and capacity of the higher-voltaged cell, e.g. when you mix a 1.22V Eneloop AA with a 1.08V Eneloop AA in the Klarus P2A.

With 1x AA, you cannot mix cells. If the cell is partially charged or discharged, doesnt matter. Eneloop, Alkaline or 14500's, doesnt matter. You dont degrade the quality of the cell.

And obviously, the P1A with 14500 is going to be brighter than the P2A with 2x AA's.

Yet, the P1A is not the 100% perfect EDC because, compared with the custom Quark X, it is bulkier, doesnt support the 10's of Fenix diffuser stuffz and other 21.5mm-bezel-sized accessories, and is heavier. Still one of the best value 1x AA brand name torches you could buy at 7$-22$, depending on your DD giftcards.

How are you getting the P2a for $22? I don't have any DD gift coupons, what codes are you using to get the $22 price?

Also, I think 1x 14500 will be risky on a P1a/BA10, it will run ok but it will bypass the circuit and run direct drive, which can damage the LED if the current is too high.. The 2x AA lights should be fine also, as long as you don't mix partially used cells with fresh off the charger ones or different chemistries, I keep most of my eneloops in pairs anyway and if not can top-off two seperate ones then know they are both the same.

Even if you do mix poorly matched cells eneloops are very tough, I found two a friend had run flat down to 0.01v each and left them for about a month and after recharging they performed fine at nearly full capacity.
