Found 2 of these Dewalt 41pc bit sets mixed into a hanging post display. They were the Odd Duck so I took a walk over to the SCO. Rang up as $7.50 and I grabbed the other pack too. The other sets hanging and as advertised are $12.97
These 2 inch opening spring clamps are regular price but for $0.99 I had to get a couple. Kinda large and as big as a hand, pretty strong grip
Last of the yellow tag C-clamps, 2in opening for $1.10 I need to stop buying these…
Leftover BF deal still getting cheaper, there were still 4 hooks full, now $4.98 for 2 pack folding utility knife. They have regular priced singles for $7.50.
New display of the Bucket Buddy type Husky tool organizer $6.97
Has double pockets on the outer perimiter and single row on the inside. Actually nice for $7
One strange thing happened. Home Depot actually raised the price of a Black Friday item.
This display was put out for Black Friday, a 40W equiv LED light bulb with blue tooth speaker. I bought a couple, turns out they weren’t that good
They didn’t sell well at all and all the stores had plenty left over.
They were first priced at $14.88 then were reduced to $12.00. A couple of weeks ago, down to $7.54
Back then, I grabbed 2, and went up to customer service. I got refunded for the 2 I bought on BF and bought them back at half price along with 2 more. Total cost was about the same as the first 2, so in essence I got 2 more for free. (or a penny)
Since then, I have have been watching them for when they would go to the “2” price, probably around $3.82 or so.
But NO, the few stores around here I have been to have actually raised the price to over the BF price!
I reported a couple of days ago I scored some mini 8” florescent under counter fixtures in Massachusetts for a penny.
The power cords for the JUNO lights right next to them also went to a penny.
Back here in CT, both those items are on clearance at the “6” price though.
And this $40 “All Terrain” Power Bank just went from $30.06 to $10.03
Also there are some hand tools that have hit the “3” price, for example this 3/8 inch speed wrench
Still not cheap enough for me though.
I despise Glacier Bay faucets. Too many plastic tailpieces have fallen apart on me. You might get me to take one at a penny if it had a $10 bill inside the package.
I bought my folks a clearance Glacier bay kitchen faucet last year, it works fine
That said i can see some models o their products being junk, their quality is not high end.
Thanks guys, had you not been talking about this Porter Cable pancake compressor and nail gun combo I would have missed this.
I know the price tag says $100.04, but they scan at $50.02
This store had 3 on the floor and I grabbed them all. Had to make 2 trips.
That Sperry coax and ethernet cable tester scanned for $7.53, not $28.00
Second load. I also found 2 more of those wire splicer kits for a penny each.
This time to check for price I went up to the Service Desk and asked them to check for stock. Then I ask about price.
This time after I gave them the SKU “1000-017-910” the were silent and just looked at each other. I said, it’s priced at $50.02, right?
They sheepishly replied that it was.
Today I had my wife’s car. No way I could come home with these 3 in the back seat. I dropped them off at the office.
I get that all these things are a good price, but why do you need so many of them??
Like, all the money you would have saved ends up getting spent anyway, and I doubt anyone has a use for 3 air compressors, 20 power banks, 10 sinks, etc…
Yeah, the big stuff I sell off to friends. Just today a friend in Ohio called me while he was in Harbor Freight to ask me what to buy for a compressor. I had actually brought some of the ones I had and left them out there for another friend that would pass through from Missouri. I will bring another to replace it when I head out there next month. As for the power banks, I had that friend that asked for all I could get. But power banks are just too useful to have only one. I have them spread out all over the place. Couple in the car, couple in the van. Then the man cave etc etc. No matter where I am, when I need extra power for my phone, I can find a power bank. My iPhone6S depletes the battery in half a day.
And quite frankly, the ones I got off the internet, Ruinovo, ENB etc are just crap. One problem is that the specs change. First Ruinovo I bought worked great, even would charge an iPad. Other iterations of that same device were cheapened to the point they don’t function. Same for the ENB.
Last year I bought some so called 6600mAh ones from “Five Below” that were actually quite good. And they only cost $5 each.
To me, it is MUCH more useful to have 6 power banks for $5 each than it is to have just 1 that cost $30.
Plus it doesn’t matter to me if they get scratched up in use. Or should I loose one.
