KD (kaidomain): Deals and new products thread

And if you are ordering from MtnE he will reflow any in stock emitters for free, bare or on another board. He does excellent work. I have tried and it gets frustrating to get the 3 emitters and jumpers done and done right. I will never do a Tpad quad again. 3XP are easier but stillā€¦ it will be done right from Richard.

Maybe KD is interested in producing 20mm quad dtp boards? Tpad are :confounded:

Interested too , in more than 5 pieces . 20mm , quad , for Carclo 10621 / 10622 optics etc , 1.6-2mm board thickness , dtp , copper .

No etc.
Carclo compatible only.
Round milled board with 5 drilled holes.
I can help with design to avoid usual problems.
Will take 50-100pcs from first batch and more in future.
Production methods and self-cost is same too other noctigon-style KD boards, so target price is $3.5 per 2pcs.

With ā€œetcā€ i meant frosted version of 10621 / 10622 like 10623 , 10624 .

Yep I agree T-Pads :confounded: ! Make a 32mm triple board in the KD Black! I would really like it if they made both, dedicated parallel boards also, dislike using jumpers! :+1:

Finnaly I can log in into my KD account on their site.

Same error like first time, add to cart, click checkhout with PP, go to PP, pay then automatic get back to their site with this error :

Any other of you have this problem ?

A simple Parallel design similar to Manker, Mateminco, or who ever it actually is. But Must fit Carclo and have the Negative on the outer edge. Yes, with some Meat on the board, Not thin. Pleaseā€¦ :money_mouth_face:

iā€™ll be interested in quad pad / Tpad 20mm diameter that fit Carlo optic too.

i will get 10- 20 depending on price

no no no
I will help with the design.
Problems with traces short-cutting to the body can be simly fixed other way.

I want to mod my S2+ with a 219c triple.
I bought the LEDĀ“s from Clemence. Now i need the other Parts.
Will this fit? Driver is a MTN FET + 7135 Driver

And i want to upgrade my UF-1504 with a new XP-L2 LED.
Which LED should i take for max output? Driver is a MTN FET + 7135 or a LD-2 with a 100K current resistor (= max 9A)

I will use US18650VTC6 as powersource.

I just got in an assortment of the KD DTP copper stars a week agoā€¦ I have to say, they are really nice. They are flat, black and dimensions are good. I will use more of these.

Thanks KD, now I will have to order more ledā€™s.

Matt

received mine too, very good packaging and quick shipping. My triples arenā€™t flat though. They are slightly bent and only a good amount of sanding makes them somewhat flat. Having said all of that - they work 100%. If anything this seems like a cosmetic issue.

Now I need to buy more emitters and hosts.

Warning KD Black stars, de-doming a couple XHP35HD E2-1Aā€™s in racing fuel, and the substrate is lifting, guess I have a couple more 20mm copper spacers!

Ooh, thatā€™s not niceā€¦ :frowning:
I wonder how they will hold up in regular fuel and other solventsā€¦

I have a bunch of KD boards, and theyā€™re all quite as flat as Noctigon.
Only the triple boards are deeper in the middle.

I did not try any triples, very happy with the Noctigon ones. I will have to watch them when removing domes, I always solder the led on before I soak them to remove the dome. Have not tried any of these in gasoline.

I hope that KD can get the new XP-L2-W2 LEDĀ“s until the BLF Q8 is ready to be sold.
This will be a lot of work and also not realy cheap but well worth. The Q8 + 4 new XP-L2-W2, a new XHP50.2 as upgrade for my modded TN31 (K40M driver with resistor mod and dedomed MT-G2 LED and i added a lot of copper to help with the extra heat), and a XP-L2-W2 upgrade for my UF-1504.

I have one question. I bought a few Cree MC-E RGBW LEDĀ“s. Now i need the MCPCBs.
Is this the right one for the LED?

Yes those would work

And donā€™t go over 700mA per die, that is really close to the max already.
