Manker MK35 Prototype, Review link in the first post

Sweet! Iā€™ll wait for the disgusting version. :stuck_out_tongue:

A little bit in the bezel yeah (or a lot)

Sometimes copies are made by the sub-contracted factory.

Seeing as the BLF GT is never going to be made, this may be a good alternative depending on price.

Donā€™t see why companies donā€™t make a bigger head than than tn42? If the niwalker and manker would have done this, there could be a lot more sales for them. Who doesnā€™t want a light than can dethrone the tn42.

ā€¦or maybe UT03?

:open_mouth: Say it ainā€™t so!!! . :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
.

TN42 Reflector is 88mm inside to inside.

Iā€™d like to go out for some beamshots.
Unfortunately, the light has been stuck and canā€™t be moved since 4am this morning.

Any intensity measurement or reflector size ?

Output measure is usually the last thing I do.

You know , everyone here is a bit curious about output . Thanks again for all the updates ā€¦

I hope this thing can compete with tn42 and be $100 or less

Many collectors look only for that.
But the top speed is not the only thing that makes a good race car. Many others parameters and specs are important also (weight, size, regulation, level spacing, interface, cost), otherwise people would go around carrying a lightouse or a streetlight. Or both.

Since the output test is the quickest, I like to keep that as one of the last things (that, updating the runtime plots from % to lumens).
Now I have a new camera and I will have to make many shots in order to found the combination that matches what my eyes see.
This will take a whole evening, and it may also result in me not being happy with the pics and going back to the old camera or taking more pics.

This time I will do the output measurement next. So in the meanwhile I can publish something.
But you see the blue light on the switch? Means that the batteries are not running low. When they are low it becomes purple, then red. It is still blue. This may take some time.

But itā€™s got a 100mm head. The light in the image must be 90-95mm as thatā€™s a 3.5ā€ HDD under it and they are 102mm wide and there looks to be a fair chunk of room either side of it.

Letā€™s hope it has a thin bezel in that case lol

Less.

Maybe.

Ooooh, subscribedā€¦. very interesting

Intriguingā€¦

Iā€™m still very interested

Subscribed, I really like the XHP35 HI emitter, thanks for the tease
