It must be the same. Many sites have wrong battery configuration, it does not take 3 26650 cells. Right?
EDIT//
Doh. Yes it does. Only DX states 2x26650
EDIT//
POK, correct link to DX:
Or the manual has error. Hehe.

Sorry, BT-QS66 I will prepare to order too hehehe lol.
OMG, dx has much lower price than all! I ordered from kd, then it came from mf, now from dx! At least the kd shipped fast, dx would ship in one month. But damn, i lost 19 dollars!
You got from KD already. How does it feel?
First I ordered from KD.
Too late for MF.
And now just ordered from DX
(1) 2 protected and 1 unprotected, i don't see any difference regarding the sequence of the cells placement.
(2) 4 Sevens protected, what i know is that one of them is specced for higher drain apps. Shouldn't be too much of an issue, but do try it out first in a safe place and see what happens, and of course measure them cells. :)
Can you post the URL for int outdoors? I cant find it on Google, strangely. Thanks!
Edit: Nvm I found it on the Kingkong thread :)
You can find int-outdoor.com in google under "king kong 26650.

Sorry HB021 could not see the images.
Yes I noticed, sorry but was on iphone at work so I didn't have time to insert pictures properly. Edited now though :)
HB021
I'm expecting better images to push the trigger!
I couldn't wait so I ordered this past weekend but higher quality images would be really nice.
I still can't see them.
excited to hear the amperage readings, too
Nice pictures HB021.
Is the drop In a screw in ? It looks like you had it out.
Me too , but I can see them via proxy.
Yes I think it's a screw in but I coulndt get it out, didn't wanna pull too hard either because I wanted to get some beamshots before I destroy it hehe... ... I'm on the way to work now but I can try again tonight
Come on hurry up and give us some first impressions!! :D
I love how they just keep cranking up the lumen output numbers. 4500 on this one huh? At least that is theoretically possible (if they drove each LED at 4 amps instead of 1.5....), unlike the Sky 3800 which is just a flat out lie.
Even so, this 5x emitter won't be any brighter than the 3x ones, since they only drive it at 1.5 amps each.
You want to bet?
