Triple REFLECTOR for X6 or C8

KD has a couple reflectors smaller than those for an SRK and I’m curious if anyone has tried either one. This 40 mm one might be a good fit for a C8 and This 36 mm one might fit an X6. Also curious if the hole layout matches the noctogon 32.

Interesting find, RBD. Subscribing. Even if it fit and the Noctigon worked, we’d still need to fashion a spacer to fit. I’d be curious to see how it’d work out.

I’ll look into this, see if I can find out anything useful. The 36mm diameter is too large as the X6 requires a 35mm glass lens that just does fit into the bezel. But of course, this can be adapted. :slight_smile: I have some other things I need from Kaidomain, will probably get one or two of these and see what it takes to fit the X6. I have a handful of hosts waiting for something to do… :wink:

Thanks Dale, you’re better equipped to mod the 36mm. It sounds pretty close to the cute-3 in height, close enough that it might even work with current spacers and a different lens. I’m not sure what hosts they are made for but since some prefer reflectors to optics it’s a can of works I’d like a peek into. I’m also curious to see any differences between either of them and the cute-3. Adding reflector mass can’t hurt something like an XHP-50 triple. Everyone sees C8 and automatically thinks thrower, I’d like to expand the view.

It’ll be a few weeks at best before we know. That’s why I asked if anyone had tried them.

I noticed the 36mm triple reflector too and ordered it but it still hasn’t processed yet due to CNY.

Just ordered 3 of the 36x14mm triple reflectors, along with a few other things. So yeah, the wait is on! Haven’t ordered from Kaidomain in quite a while…

I believe kiribaru is making a triple spacer for the C8.

Only issue is that you need a lathe for a project like that , so i’ll have to see others’ mods :stuck_out_tongue:

Khas, is it possible to center the leds with the noctigon?

I have tried to center the emitter in the reflector at the top but that leaves the other two off center.

It appears the Noctogon has the right hole layout as the reflector but the maxtoch doesn’t? How does the beam compare to the cute-3?
