Bad experience buying from www.cnqualitygoods.com

I asked because I placed an order for a flashlight nearly 1 month ago and the vendor has yet shipped the product.
If it is out of stock or waiting to be re-stock, at least they should communicate it to me.
However, they never answered my query.
Today I sent another email asking for status.
If I don’t hear back from them within a reasonable amount of time, I’m going to contact Paypal to cancel the transaction and refund my money.

Has anybody had bad experience buying from this website?

CNquality goods used to be one of the early major online vendors that offer from flashlights to accessories. In fact, the springs that I used to replace the melted ones in my Supbeam K40 a long time ago and recently on my Niwalker BK-FA02S was bought from Ric of CN.

While the items I bought came in very late and I almost filed a Paypal claim, it arrived nevertheless, almost 60 days after.

However, do not expect emails and other forms of correspondence to be acted upon as early as you wish, as that was my experience from them.

Sit back a relax and it will just be a pleasant surprise when it finally arrives.

Based on what you said, it sounds like they screwed up their position as the once pioneer shopping site for flashlights and accessories.
I can see why.
Not being responsive to customers is one of few best ways to kill your business.

I don’t expect them to ship the item in a few days and I don’t expect them to respond in a short time.
However, I feel I gave them plenty of time to ship and plenty of time to respond.
I purchased from many Chinese sellers and most of them understood the importance to reply to customer inquiry in a timely manner.
Especially when there is a long delay in shipping.

Beside, when a seller gives you plenty of time to wait for your item, meanwhile, you may change your mind.
So it is in the best interest of the seller to keep you as a customer by shipping quickly whenever possible, or at least to keep the customer informed of any issue with the order.

Hank of IO is an example of a responsive vendor. Although my order took a long time to ship, at least he responded to my email and gave an ETA. I was happy to hear back from him and waited patiently until the item was shipped.

You will find that most Chinese shops have been shut down for the last month. Try contacting RIC here.

Thanks for the link.
Are you referring to Chinese New Year festivities?
Now more than 15 days after the spring festival/new year most if not all of businesses should be open.
Individuals may take longer vacation but businesses should open sooner.

+1

From my own experience: it may take some time, but so far Ric has always delivered the goods I’ve payed for.

Cnqg was never good on follow up, usually not even sending confirmation emails but goods always arrived. I haven’t ordered since the site came back online last year with fewer goods available. Also one of the slower shippers so 8 weeks wouldn’t surprise me. It’s not worth the stress of getting angry, just be ready to contact PayPal if/when necessary.

From what I read it is a bit flakey
However they make cool stuff and I ordered my NW Jaxman Z1 there for $37.- shipped. It came pretty fast and as good as it was supposed to be (the latest version)
Not all shops are back and even if they do, just imagine what stopping the country for several weeks yet accepting orders must do with the shops, the shippers and such, delays are to be expected now, even if all is getting started again.

I found communications with Ric to be poor, but I always received my order. That said I haven’t ordered from him since I purchased an updated driver for my Dry 3XT6 flashlight around 4 years ago.

Let’s just say that Ric’s communication skills is not one of his strong points, but your mention of that Dry light brought back some form of ‘euphoric recall’ , alongside with the ‘original’ Skyray King during those times.

For historical purposes, that ‘original’ Skyray King is the predecessor and inspiration of this light today: The Q8, a BLF premium edition SRK type monster flashlight !

I’m looking foward to the Q8. Hopefully it comes out soon!

You are a lot more patient than I am! I would never even wait 1 month w/o the courtesy of a reply before I contacted Paypal for a refund!

Reasons like what your experiencing is why I always order with in the USA,Very few exceptions.

Chinese New years is a feeble excuse. I ordered some batteries in the middle of Chinese New Year That Illumn was waiting for. They arrived on time.

I have so an order in CnqualityGoods from january 22th and there is not communication with the store, neither a confirmation mail or shipping mail, or mail response to my inquiries. I have to hold hands to not start a paypal claim.

Based on what others have said, it may stretch to 2 months before I see any movement on my order. It still has not been shipped when I checked last night.

I would also like to order from US vendor or warehouse. However, most flashlights that I want are only available at a more reasonable price when sold and shipped from China.
