Home Depot Deal Alerts & Discussion Thread

B&D boosters are a penny now FYI :+1:

DCH those passthrough sockets should be a penny too. I bought some extensions this am for 1c, that dates right too.

I haven’t seen any since I got back home. :frowning:
No penny deals either, but I did come across these clearance items.
This Milwaukee worklight that I posted about, and had some fun with here
Meet my friend Bob and his new flashlight
is on clearance.
Originally this worklight came out at $250.00, my friend got one for half that. On Black Friday HD offered a special combo deal including a 5Ah battery and charger for free! Now stores with leftover stock are clearing them out. This store has them for $225.00. The included battery alone goes for $120

While another store is $199.00

Some other stuff I picked up

This is a universal adapter that allows any brand of blade to be used in any brand multi tool.

These FEIN blades were found on a clearance endcap with no price. They checked out for $10.03 each
One package of Bi-Metal, and one package of Wood.

But they are packs of 3!

I bought one of these when it first went on clearance at $18.00

Then I saw them at $16.00 and now $14.00. I brought one up and got refunded the difference, $4
My local store had the Ridgid Tri-Stack compressors clearanced at $207.06, not $225.06 like other stores.

And lastly, this is NOT a Home Depot deal.
I just can’t help coming across deals on LED bulbs
A month or so I found 6 of these CREE 65W equivalent flood light bulbs for a penny a piece.

Yesterday I came across this display at “Ocean State Job Lot”, a regional chain found in New England and New York. With about 115 stores, they are similar to “Big Lots” and “Ollies”, but closer in style to “Ollies”

These are the same CREE bulbs I scored for a penny, now at OSJL.
Price is 99 cents a piece, BUT

This is a “Crazy Deal”
A Crazy Deal is a deal where after buying an item, you also recieve a gift card for a like amount.

So in other words, they are free.
Free beats a penny at HD, but not actually. There is the sales tax on $9.90, about 60 cents.
So those 10 bulbs cost me about 6 cents a piece.

3 c triple $8
3c triple

We can now get the Atomic Beam Flashlight in Home Depot!!!

Apparently they have been offered for sometime now, it’s just that I never bothered to notice

Seems like everyone else didn’t bother to notice either, so they are on clearance.
(reduced prices, no shipping or handling chargers)

Presently it’s only at the “00” price.
Sure would like to score 1 at the “03” price
NOT

The Leatherman “SideKick” originally $29.88 was reduced to an even $23.00, and now $15.04

Hard to find, but the twin pack of Milwaukee 11 in 1 screw drivers are 50% off at $7.54. In 2 weeks they will go to about $2.72 or so.

The single pack is still full price.

Likewise for the Milwaukee knife set.

Some stores may still have them at a discount of $12.00, but they should be reduced at any time. Imagine in a couple of weeks a “2” price of about $3.82
These cheap lantern battery lights are now on clearance at $4.00 or $3.80. A single emitter and something like 70 Lumens. Includes the 6V lantern battery. Last year I modded one of these lights with an XHP-70
“My XHP-70 ”Sleeper Light Mod”:My XHP-70 "Sleeper Light" Mod

Here is a nice clear case with combination lock.

I am now seeing the 2 pack of “C’ celled Maglites at $19.00.

Last year for the Holidays, HD had an AA and AAA Maglite combo that also started out at $24.98 (a good deal!) that eventually went to $6.33. I am hoping these will also survive to a price of around $6.33.
If they do…………………………………

They sell those atomic beam's at Wal-Mart. They are on the as seen on T.V. isle. I always male sure if we are going to Wal-Mart I take a very juiced up light with me in case I see someone looking at them lol.

An employee walked by as I was testing one. They had one set up.
As he walked by, he yelled “as seen on TV!”
I stopped him, and showed him the difference between my $3.50 SK-68 with stock driver and modded with an XP-G2.
My light which was half the size, but running on a 14500 Li-Ion, was easily twice as bright.

I think it was TMart that had a similar light as the Atomic Beam that on 2 different occasions I purchased for $2.99.

My 68 is set up with the same emitter and some driver mods. It will blister any off the shelf muggle light. LOL.

I forgot to mention I found this 12V, 5A LED power supply today for a penny. It was sitting right out in the open on a clearance table. With a date of 07/15/16, it was certainly old enough, but with all the recent disappointments I wasn’t too optimistic when I brought it up.
I went back and looked for more but couldn’t find any. This one caught me by complete surprise as I hadn’t been following it. It certainly will come in handy.
With an original price of $69.97 :confounded: I am constantly amazed at what some people are willing to pay to be on the “Bleeding edge of technology”

I found 2 of the 30 watt/ 2.5 amp PS the other day—I had to pay $9.33 —I didn’t want to chance loosing them

Yesterday I came across a second one. It was an open package in a strange place, but it scanned for $69.97

I did come across 3 of these 200 piece tool sets. I grabbed the only 3 for 2 different friends, I actually had found 1 at the same price last year for myself. In a few weeks, if anyone can find one, they should go for $25.02. The only chance of finding one though would be if it is found somewhere unmarked. After all, the store that had the 3 at $50.04 was cleaned out after I came along.

A couple of other deals I saw, but did not buy.
2 - 4Ah Ryobi battery packs, $59.00

35’ Laser Measure, in a couple of weeks they will be around $7.52

I’ve been slacking lately, haven’t been in a while. Accumulating too much stuff that I don’t need just cause it’s a penny! lol. That’s a good deal on those batteries, I wish they would clearance out some Dewalt batteries!!

And this was a clearance table located at the main entrance of the store.
Blue arrows point to items that rang up at a penny

Scored the Bosch Laser Measure device for $7.52 & a sprinkler for $2.40.

-Garry

Found some cheap lights the other day, was going to check it out online but not much info:

4 pack for $8

^

Cool color mix. I have no experience with those specific lights, but that line of lights have real useful beam pattern.

Scored a framers tool belt with suspension rig for $15.03 this morning. Didn't have time to take a pic.

I see that Dcho continues to be on a tear. I haven't had any luck replicating those finds, but I love hearing about them.

Yeah, I’m on a tear alright.
I will say it again, EVERYTHING that goes to a 6 or 3 or 4 or 2 price WILL eventually be marked in the system as a penny.
The hard part is finding one on a shelf somewhere when they do.
More and more it seems that different regions have different dates on their clearance items. For example, Garry just scored the BOSCH laser measure, GL10X, for $7.52. They are still $15.04 around here. Here is a display of them that although they are marked at $29.88, they scan for $15,04. They were missed. Maybe they will be missed again when they go to $7.52, and………………maybe when they go to a penny :innocent:

Here is a 2 price I scored day before yesterday.

This I don’t understand, this 1000 lumen worklight pennied out last year

Here are some deals I came across

Sorry about this one.

Home Depot thinks they can hide these from me, but I know they are up there
That is 2 of the 200 piece tool sets and box that I got 2 weeks ago for $50.04. I am watching them, when they hit $25.02 I am buying! (and get the reduction for the 3 I already bought)

Now, here is some stuff I got for a penny yesterday.
These wire ties

These GE LED, Hi CRI flood lights. There were a lot.

These extension tubes, ABS plastic

I don’t, can’t, shouldn’t report everything I find for a penny. It should be enough to report stuff that goes on clearance.
It’s up to to everyone, on their own, to find it WHEN it does hit a penny.

I saw this last week in Canada for regular price of $9.98, i took a picture of the Canadian sku in case it goes on clearance (its not on our website which happens even for non clearance items)
Good to know it will eventually go on clearance, 4AA looks promising.
Did you buy it, does it have modes?

I did not buy, the main reason I shot that picture is because you can’t always believe the clearance tags.

Speaking of that, because of ImA4’s post above I was able to score on the Framer’s Belt. My store had them marked at $45.06

But they rang up for $15.03 This purchase is not for me but rather for a friend.

Here is what one looks like spread out on the pavement.

BTW, while I was there I was able to find some 6 to 1 Coax splitters good up to 2.4GHz
The 2.4GHz is important as it allows a MoCA network.
(MoCA is a way to pass ethernet over cable tv coax)

The adapters were a penny
