hi dear, could you tell me why you want buy China items not via AE

hi,dear all,

I am a flashlight manufacture and seller in China. We have a net store on www.aliexpress.com. Just a month ago,we issued a new model flashlight, the 3 leds E2L flashlight with a 3 in one Lens.

One of BLFers want buy it not via the Aliexpress store, he payed me via Paypal, and I will ship the goods. We have told him that the shipment fees will be some increase if we do not make the deal via Aliexpress.com, because the Aliexpress provide a much cheaper shipment service. While he decide to place the order by Paypal and let me send the package to his address.

I send the package to Shenzhen where is near to Hongkong,on 17th,Feb. But the logistic agency tole me just now, they can not arrange the shipment……The reason is very hard to said here, and they also did not give me the detail reason for why the package cant be shipped. While the other 10 packages were all ok…the 10 packages are all the orders of Aliexpress.com ones. They told me they will return the package, and I have to find another Logistics to ship out the package.

Now I want to know some informations from dears. Why you like to place order via a directly payment Paypal, and why dislike the payment via Aliexpress. Some buyers said they dislike to use thire Credit Card. Is the Aliexpress.com must need a Credit Card to finish the payment? And what will be unhappy by paying via a Credit Card? As I know to pay via a Credit Card in China is not any bad infulence to the owner. And there will no other fees either.

So I am too puzzled about why dear buyers insist on placing order not via Aliexpress. And if I get the reasons, I would like to do some thing to help you ,including to apply and open an Ebay shop.

So dear, your conversion is welcome.

Have a good luck!

Shippment summary of Jaxman to you.

1st step ,we send packages from Hubei,a central China place to Shenzhen, where is a transfer centen of world trade. The distance is about 1000KM from Hubei to Shenzhen, and transportation is by highway, not air. This will needs at least 3 days.

2nd step, the Logtistics agency in Shenzhen will receive our package and send packages to worldwide. Most sellers are sending package by Post little regisitered package, from Shenzhen to you.

If the packages are belong to AE orders, then the operation of linking the 2 steps is very easy by internet. And if the package was lost, damaged or other failure to buyer, AE will give seller a insurance for the damage. AE has a fixed logistics service provider for the sellers.

While, if the packages are not belong AE orders, then we have to contact the logistics service provide—-Agency—-ourself. Surely,we can find a Agency for the No-AE orders, such as payment directly via Paypal, and then we send your package to the agency in Shenzhen. While,we must make more conversation about the shipping manual. Including but not limited to the Buyers informaitons, shipping way choice, fees charging, and so on.As you know,we are far from Shenzhen, we can not come into the agency;s work office to see what happened. If there is some thing happened,we can wait only. And if the package need to be send back us,it will wast 3days again.——just like the package of one BLF friends,he pay me via Paypal, and I send pakage to a Agency, but the agency told me he can not arrange shippment! Though he told me before I send package to him on Feb 23, but now he tell me he cant now! China is not a good market, there are too much naive things happen every day. How can I deal with the un-honest Agency?

But if I send the packages via AE system, then AE can keep on watch for the shipping. If there is any problem,AE will take its duty to deal with it—————-that will be faster, and more effective.

Becuase I am not in Shenzhen, if I am in Shenzhen,as Mr Mao, Also called Simon, who is the boss of CONVOY,I will also can deal well with this problem. I have to depend on the E-Commerce advantage of AE.

At least, now we are still in finding the proper way to deal with non-AE orders. I think I can find it. Only 3 days is needed more. Now I am trying, and espeically the battery shippment.

Hi jaxman,

People like Paypal because it is easy, fast, safe, and it has a very good buyer protection system, way better than aliexpress.

And not everyone has a credit card, I do not have one. I still buy a lot via aliexpress because I can use my local IDeal paysystem on aliexpress, but not all countries have that advantage. (I bought the E2L last week from your aliexpress store this way).

It is nice of you to allow Paypal for some customers, and a shame that that gives shipping problems.

Personally I use AliExpress a lot, so for me it’s not a problem. However, with my bank I can create a temporary credit card number with a max limit. I can use this temporary credit card until it’s empty, then I create a new one. I usually make them with $100 limit.

To my knowledge, AliExpress requires either credit card or bank transfer. If I did not have the ability to create a temporary credit card I would be more reluctant to use AliExpress or any other online shop that requires credit cards.

PayPal’s buyer protection is tried and tested, I don’t know how well AliExpress system works, but PayPal already has the trust of BLF users.

What I don’t understand is why AliExpress does not implement the PayPal option. I guess being a PayPal middle man is harder than with credit cards, but I’m sure that if they sorted it out somehow, AliExpress sales would increase.

Buyer Protection on AE not the best.
Not with your store specifically, but in general.
Many fakes, often do not match the description.
Therefore it is better through paypal.

I bought in your store nichia and I enjoyed it.
Is that free shipping - it’s better than paid. You can get more cashback with Ali

Paypal is safer, your credit card details won’t be passed on to someone else or the merchant but remains in your jurisdiction (i.e. US or EU).
There are cases where people complain of fraud charges on the credit card they used to make a payment through AE.

buyer protection is better on Pp.

hi dear,

In my opinion, the payment methods like Paypal or AE or otehers, are only only a money transfering way. Except this, they are no any difference.

I am a honest and simple man, I will do my best to deal with all dealer with a honest mind. I think the real business can not be well done by cheating. So no matter by what kind of way, we will make sure the goods are OK. Of course, we are not full-ablity man, we will make wrong, but I will afford the lost caused by our wrong.

And I will contact the AE for a Paypal payment way for us.

As the shipping fees,we will listen more ideas of dear. If the so called free shipping is so impportant,we will also can do it.

Rgs

Jaxman,

What I said wasn’t aimed at you - quite the contrary. I doubt that the seller is the weak point on AE, the merchant just wants to make the sale and create a great customer experience.
But the buyer doesn’t know who at AE (or who inside the supply chain or at 3rd parties involved) has access to the payment data and where it is stored.

Every time I order something using Aliexpress, my credit card company (Capitol One) questions the transaction and puts a stop on my card thinking it’s a possible fraud attempt since using our mastercard directly with a company in China is outside our purchasing habits. So for me, it’s a giant pain in the ass to use Ali. With Paypal, my credit card info is hidden from the processor and vendor. I don’t trust Aliexpress won’t have a giant hacking problem one of these days.

I hope you can get Paypal shipping straightened out soon, I would like to order product from you right now.

Look into e-packet shipping to US. It may be a little bit more money to ship this way, but people will pay a little extra to get their packages quickly.

edit… Simon at Convoy doesn’t have any problem shipping using Paypal, and he has an Aliexpress store. Maybe you could contact Simon and ask him about how e-packet works.

This does not apply AE, but IMHO

1. Use in the driver Attiny 13A (45/85) microcontroller. As far as I know, you have a PIC.
This will expand the range of potential flasheholik for possible reprogramming. In this regard, the Convoy takes precedence

2. make the driver with a FET transistor + AMC7135. For triple and flashlight on the new XPG3 & XPL2 LEDs - this driver makes sense.
BLF17DD BLF17DD Info Thread - Reference
17mm DD+7135 [WIP][mostly retired] 17mm DD+7135 -- linear regulated driver w/ FET turbo

3. Use the illuminated button. Even if you just change the PCB design for an opportunity to add LED and resistors…

4. Use copper Pill Coated from oxidation (or without it) & DTP star.

5. The great interest will be the driver 6-12V output (alone or with flashlight) on a single battery 18650.
Nichiya released new diodes, also CREE have XHP35/50/70

6. Create topic to collect the wishes and feedback from customers

I like paypal now that i used it a good bit… i probably wouldnt buy somewhere that didnt accept paypal…

that said? i wouldnt try to “force” a seller to take payments a way they dont want to. But, thats just me.

I like AliExpress a lot.
I don’t like Paypal too much. On AE i can use online bank transfer without cost for me or for the seller (but maybe seller has to pay fee for AliExpress payment system?).
AliExpress has good buyer protection that works very easy for the buyer (is my experience).
Better than ebay.
But sometimes it takes 2 months for orders to arrive…

That E2L looks nice. I’d be more interested in AE if there was an easy PayPal option.

I like both PP and AE, and i never ever had problems with both of them: Paypal i use for almost 13 years now, AE for like 4

However, i had huge problems with Amazon several months ago - they charged me of an item twice! And we talk about 3800$ here….at the end i had to rise a bank dispute and put a special limmits to my major online paying CC
Be extra careful when dealing with Amazon

I agree!

Hmm some misconceptions in this thread, probably one of the reasons people prefer PayPal
Debunk time:
1 your credit card information is known in the AliExpress system. not the vendors, AliExpress is safe and is not a reason for fraudulent write offs.
2 dispute system on both Paypal and AliExpress offers security (I prefer AliExpress much much more based on personal experience where PayPal wanted me to fax (in 2016!!) but was not responsive if the provided number was French or USA, Gearbest gave a refund and if they had not done that I would have lost out. The dispute of AliExpress offers a lot of room to clarify and negotiate, verdicts are fair.)
3 Paypal payments are made to vendor right away, AliExpress payments are made to vendor if buyers says it has arrived.
This is important. For AE it does not matter who they make the funds available to so in case of dispute there is no incentive to delay or anything. Paypal needs to reclaim the funds so in case of a PayPal dispute a vendor has a lot to win in stalling and trying to get the buyer to mess the highly regulated process up.

Besides this, maybe some people are too young to have a credit card or do not realise one can get pre paid credit cards from different sources or even make a virtual cards in their bank environment.
Big global credit card companies like VISA have no problem with AliExpress.

I’d hate to see PayPal on AliExpress because I think PayPal is more expensive for vendors and we know it will be added to price for all to make things easier.

Paypal an Aliexpress both worked for me, even in situations where I had to fight for my money. Never had a problem with either.

No Paypal, no purchase.
Too many hacks going on to risk hassle of credit card info direct to overseas vendors.

When you supply Gearbest or BangGood where we can use Paypal, then this new Jaxman will be purchased in larger quantities.
There was some talk of AE getting Paypal as a payment form, but that seemed to die away.

Yes, Jaxman, just make your lights available via Gearbest!
They have PayPal

They did

(+ points  )

Many vendors on AliExpress now take PayPal as an option. As I understand from AliExpress they are moving in that direction completely. They say it is up to each individual vendor to accept PayPal, they won’t force anyone to do so.

Edit: I found this AliXBlog that says AliExpress STOPPED working with PayPal due to high commissions charged at PayPal.
