hi dear, could you tell me why you want buy China items not via AE

I like paypal now that i used it a good bit… i probably wouldnt buy somewhere that didnt accept paypal…

that said? i wouldnt try to “force” a seller to take payments a way they dont want to. But, thats just me.

I like AliExpress a lot.
I don’t like Paypal too much. On AE i can use online bank transfer without cost for me or for the seller (but maybe seller has to pay fee for AliExpress payment system?).
AliExpress has good buyer protection that works very easy for the buyer (is my experience).
Better than ebay.
But sometimes it takes 2 months for orders to arrive…

That E2L looks nice. I’d be more interested in AE if there was an easy PayPal option.

I like both PP and AE, and i never ever had problems with both of them: Paypal i use for almost 13 years now, AE for like 4

However, i had huge problems with Amazon several months ago - they charged me of an item twice! And we talk about 3800$ here….at the end i had to rise a bank dispute and put a special limmits to my major online paying CC
Be extra careful when dealing with Amazon

I agree!

Hmm some misconceptions in this thread, probably one of the reasons people prefer PayPal
Debunk time:
1 your credit card information is known in the AliExpress system. not the vendors, AliExpress is safe and is not a reason for fraudulent write offs.
2 dispute system on both Paypal and AliExpress offers security (I prefer AliExpress much much more based on personal experience where PayPal wanted me to fax (in 2016!!) but was not responsive if the provided number was French or USA, Gearbest gave a refund and if they had not done that I would have lost out. The dispute of AliExpress offers a lot of room to clarify and negotiate, verdicts are fair.)
3 Paypal payments are made to vendor right away, AliExpress payments are made to vendor if buyers says it has arrived.
This is important. For AE it does not matter who they make the funds available to so in case of dispute there is no incentive to delay or anything. Paypal needs to reclaim the funds so in case of a PayPal dispute a vendor has a lot to win in stalling and trying to get the buyer to mess the highly regulated process up.

Besides this, maybe some people are too young to have a credit card or do not realise one can get pre paid credit cards from different sources or even make a virtual cards in their bank environment.
Big global credit card companies like VISA have no problem with AliExpress.

I’d hate to see PayPal on AliExpress because I think PayPal is more expensive for vendors and we know it will be added to price for all to make things easier.

Paypal an Aliexpress both worked for me, even in situations where I had to fight for my money. Never had a problem with either.

No Paypal, no purchase.
Too many hacks going on to risk hassle of credit card info direct to overseas vendors.

When you supply Gearbest or BangGood where we can use Paypal, then this new Jaxman will be purchased in larger quantities.
There was some talk of AE getting Paypal as a payment form, but that seemed to die away.

Yes, Jaxman, just make your lights available via Gearbest!
They have PayPal

They did

(+ points  )

Many vendors on AliExpress now take PayPal as an option. As I understand from AliExpress they are moving in that direction completely. They say it is up to each individual vendor to accept PayPal, they won’t force anyone to do so.

Edit: I found this AliXBlog that says AliExpress STOPPED working with PayPal due to high commissions charged at PayPal.

And Fasttech:

The OP shows the New Triple, now where is that for sale on FT or Gearbest?

Jaxman already said they will take Paypal, they even say it on their Ali site. All Jaxman needs to do is figure out shipping when using Paypal, since Ali has financial agreements with several shipping companies. If Simon can figure it out and have no problems shipping, then so can Jaxman.

This isn’t about which payment system is better, it’s about what makes purchaser’s more comfortable using. Since millions use Paypal, Jaxman doesn’t want to miss out on potential sales. All they have to do is figure out how to create a shipping label outside of Aliexpress. Almost every Chinese seller does this, so it can’t be that difficult to figure out.

In my country not all banks enable their cards for payment on sites like AE. All of them enable using paypal.

Personally security is no issue for me and I order from AE all the time, but I have to confirm payment with my bank for every transaction and I can buy maximum 5 times a day (5 items if different seller). So sometimes it's just annoying. With paypal I don't have that problem.

:open_mouth:

Title of this thread should be, “Gotta wonder why Ali Express will not offer PayPal to its buyers”?

The answer, Streamer, is that PayPal was charging commissions that AliExpress disagreed with.

I buy from vendors that accept paypal payments because I don’t use credit cards. No paypal = no sale.

Although I have never had to file a Paypal dispute, I feel comfortable knowing that option is there.

Im the one who paid Jaxman by Paypal and has now had my package sent back to Jaxman.

If its causing issues Jaxman you can refund me and I’ll figure something else out. Its cool man.

I use to use AI but they wanted me to re-enter my credit card and I just was not comfortable doing that again.

But….I just may because there are other items I want from AI….

Thanks Jaxman!

I’ve personally used the Jaxman store twice now to purchase two E2s. I had GREAT communication with J. Bo about both transactions and would purchase from him/them again whether they use PP or not. PP is most certainly not without its drawbacks.

I had a horrible experience with a single ordered item from GB that I paid using PP. Notice I used the word “single.” I eventually got my PP refund - after I received the first E2 that I ordered from Jaxman.

I cannot speak for all of AliExpress like most of the posters here seem to be backhandedly doing in this thread, but as for Jaxman, in my limited experience, they are way above water.
