Well, it doesn't appear the ebay Tenergy 2600 seller currently has any protected cells available. Of course! I might shoot him a message asking if he might have any around to sell me AFTER he responds to the questions I already sent him. Maybe it's a sign I'm not supposed to have these for this light

Perhaps that's at least partially just in order to make sure to get a Dry as long as the "current stock" lasts (if such a stock exists) even if you're not within the first 30 in the queue... Pay first get the light delivered first you know.

I know this is kind of off topic and I have opted out of this thread, but I topped off three sets of batteries and did some quick tailcap measurements.
Rev Jim's Pannys unprotected- 3.75 amps
Tenergy 2600 protected- 3.52 amps
Trustfire Flames protected- 3.15 amps
I also ran the Tenergys and TFs for two minutes each on Turbo, no problems.

Trust me, he will 99% sure send you a e-mail when your order has been shipped. I don't know in which order he's shipping them but you are probably just more toward the end of the list, hence you still haven't recieved anything.
