Need Help Identifying this light please.

The only markings on the out side of the light anywhere art all are in the picture you will see which is 1x to 4x zoom.

It is a very well machined light, not cheap or thin feeling at all, the threads are very smooth, more so than some lights I have that cost a couple of hundred dollars.

I got it from a guy at work and really not sure what I may do with it if anything, I would however like to find out a brand.

This is a shot of the light all together....

Here is a picture of the optics in the order they go back together. It uses 2 lenses the first smaller one is held in place by a well machined retaining ring, then the second larger lens just sits on top of that retaining ring. It is not threaded the bezel holds it in place once you screw it on.

The LED itself has a plastic retainer holding it into place, I did not try taking it out yet, I don't want to damage the plastic. So far really no reason to remove it. But even the emitter has some type of very small dome over it. Not like the emitters dome, it is larger and you can easily feel that it is a separate part.

The emitter is an XRE and I have that typed out and posted correctly now thanks to a little help. The batteries are about dead, I will but some new ones in a bit later and check the color and how bright it is.

It makes almost a perfect circle when adjusting the zoom...

Below are pictures of the tail cap by the way it is a tail click switch and only a single mode.

Emitter

Thanks for any help that anyone can be... I have checked everything I can find and not finding a match, and no model or other writing on the outside or anywhere else to help.

Thanks again.

Emitter looks like xr-e.
Do you want to replace it with a new ome?

I had to go back a d re-read my post. I knew what the emitter was but for some stupidly odd reason I typed XP-E and have no clue why.

You are absolutely correct, and I absolutely typed the wrong emitter... Need to change that. LOL that was the only thing I did know for sure about it and I typed it wrong.

It favors some of the Utiltech lights I've seen but this is much more intense in the machining. Thicker gauge, it feels quality. I may have to start a mod on this one and just see what happens. The way the optics are set up I am really curious what it would do if I can get a 26650 in it with a much better emitter and board.

Thanks for posting. I would not have even noticed what I had typed if you had not posted.

Any more mistakes, please point them out lol, I am doing way too many things at once tonight.

I am calibrating my box and tube now. Once I get finished with some lights for some friends I will see what the general output is with some fresh Double A's
